I really need to though, just for 'closure'. Its one of those that I will watch pretty much back to back again though. That's a great way to watch a series/box set. Just create your own ending, it'll be better than what actually happens

pittsburgh phil
The ending was absolutely awful. Can't think of a worse ending to a long running series actually.

pittsburgh phil
Haven't seen Deadwood so can't possibly comment! It would have to go some to be as utterly rage inducing as Dexter mind you...

Give Deadwood a go, Ian McShane steals the show and it revitalised his career.

The writing goes to absolute shit and the plot holes are ridiculous Only 1 thing I'd say Is a certain someone admitting they've fell In love with another character kinda In my head confirmed what I think will be the ending.
IainMorton
Still think Dexter would have been a fantastic show if they had ended it at the end of the penultimate season. There was no need whatsoever for that final season.

I know what you're saying about the ending not being an ending but 10 years is a bit of a wait. It'd be brilliant if they do tie it all up.
FifeArab
Just finished Dexter there, glad i started watching It again. Agreed that It would’ve been good If they ended It season 7 and waited a few years for Season 8. Ending was really disappointing for me though.

FairWeatherFan
Just announced as coming back next year for a 10 episode run. Hopefully they don't mess up this ending!
Busta Nut
I loved Dexter. I remember the last season was a big let down. I can't remember being too upset at the ending though, I'll need to rewatch it I think. No sure on things being brought back after such a lay off either.

Busta Nut
I thought this was a film. Any idea of when it is set? Considering he's a lonesome lumberjack now? ETA: I had replied just after this so f**k knows why I thought this was a film. On 14/10/2020 at 23:50, FairWeatherFan said: Just announced as coming back next year for a 10 episode run. Busta Nut
seen some still ads for this. Mrs hasn't seen dexter at all so I might do a run of that if it is anywhere.

Stu
Sky showing it from November 8. For some reason I thought it had already been on in the States but seems we're getting it just after them.
