Gaz FFC
Eh? I hope this isn't directed at me. As an SPL team, Dunfermline have never been involved in a playoff. It's for Partick fans.

Dr Koop
Also, the picture used in that story: Great effort lads That ball was actually skyed away from Rugby Park by Kris Boyd a few years ago and ended up in a garden somewhere up the east coast. Audaces Fortuna Juvat
The standard of Sky's journalism has been getting shiteier and shiteier. As long as they can run 300 stories on Fergie's retirement and pump billions in to the EPL that's all that matters, right? There are other things that matter................................?? Boghead ranter
The sports burd on BBC Breakfast this morning announced that "Alloa had won the Div1 playoff, at the expense of Dumbarton".Pity the SFL never told us, we might have sent a team to contest the game, rather than rely on a debt-ridden shower like Dunfermline to represent us. The nation's broadcaster, having no interest what's going on outside London as usual.

partick_twinny
Never knew our young midfielder, James Craigen, had been promoted: Assistant manager James Craigen said the training had gone well, adding: “It’s obviously great to be back and see everyone but it has been quite tough. We started on Monday with the fitness tests and throughout the week there’s been quite a lot of running and physical stuff.” http://www.milngavieherald.co.uk/sport/jags-head-south-for-friendly-1-2988997

Zen Archer (Raconteur)
The new SPFL website, when viewing match details and select squad, the goalkeepers are not listed, either that or Cockwomble is trying out a way to make football have the same scores as a basketball match. Caledonian
Congratulations to Derek Lyle for his six goals in ten minutes against Annan. I mean the BBC couldn't have got it wrong otherwise they would have corrected it by now.

18BAIRN76
From The Sun a few days ago: "FALKIRK boss Gary Holt has snapped up former Rangers kid Rory Loy on a free transfer following his Ibrox departure." Fuctifano
Today's print version of the daily record refers to our new signing as "Karl Higginbotham" and has the headline "Karl Sparks". Someone must have spent ages thinking that up- it's a pity his first name is Kallum. On a slightly more accurate, but still wrong, note The Sun kept referring to Allan Archibald in their article about Higginbotham. Pretty sure it's just one 'L' for Archibald's first name. jagfox
Sunday Snail had a picture of Stevie Lawleff scoring one of his goals. Another photo was tagged as him then celebrating the goal with his teammates when it is in fact Kris Doolan celebrating his opener.
