A great feeling at Cappielow..

Is relegation genuinely on the cards this season for Morton?

Outperformed by a part time team yet again, worrying times despite the pleasing cup blip.

They will be safe due to A. not being on the west coast.

Or B. the auld boy spunking his offsprings inheritance to dig them out of the hole he has buried them in.

Probably not: Cowdenbeath are dreadful and will almost certainly finish bottom. Once Moore is sacked we should finish 8th or higher.

The squad will still have chronic problems at the back and up front regardless, but there needs to be a new approach, urgently.

It shouldn't, but working out the mind of the chairman is a thankless task. The performances haven't changed either side of the giant killing or the personal issues. Overall the record was clearly sackable before and is worse now. Moore has did an Irons - pushed the club forward for a while, delivered a memorable cup shock but then fell short - the happy-clappers need to tar and feather a manager before coming to the same conclusion though.

Have to disagree MT - it's still fucking magic. Increasing debt by 400k a year for absolute shite.:)

Erm, who's increasing debt by 400k a year for "absolute shite"?

It's definitely not Morton so I presume you're talking about the Diddees again.

Seriously, what's the point? I didn't know Morton meant so much to Partick fans that you need to have a sly dig when you aren't even in the same league.

Went to crappielow yday since thistle aren't playing til Monday. Genuinely shocked that the team that ran us so close last season were totally outclassed by Alloa, who played really well, crawley ran the show for me. I know they lost key players like tidser but what has happened to the likes of bachirou? V impressed with him anytime I'd seen him previously but v poor yday. Gk kept Morton in game first half, but defence in front of him all over the place, page looks v mediocre and the number 4 looked slow. Still thought Morton would be upper midtable this season at worst
