Just been talking to Sauchie officials and budget is no where near 30k. Think your source may be wrong but then again Sauchie officials wouldn't divulge if it was a 30 k budget.

Newtongrange was always going to a hard game and although Sauchie took the lead, the visitors dominated the first half. Sauchie were the better side second half but couldn't score. Onto Wednesday and Sauchie really must win against Glenrothes, if they get the 3 points then we can find out exactly where we are on Saturday as if Penicuik don't win then Sauchie are promoted. If Penicuik win then Sauchie 3 points from 3 games to win the league.

There seems to be teams we can't handle and N itten were one of them ,3 games this season and we couldn't win any of them . Glenrothes were poor when we played them earlier in the year but they beat us 4-2 maybe there another side who've got the hex over us , we'll find out on Wed .

Sauchie to draw at glenrothes then beat Oakley ballingry and arniston which would win them the league. I will take a stab at Penicuik going up with them after they beat Broxburn on Saturday

Thought we competed well on Saturday considering only pride was at stake for us, and it was a big day for Gareth Hutchison and Gary O'Connor as they played their last games before retiring. Sauchie are a really good side going forward, but we always feel your defence gives us chances, particularly in the wide areas and that's something you'll maybe have to address if/when you go up.

Enjoyed our day and it's a good set-up there, even if we were a wee bit miffed to see the Broxburn badge on the cover of the programme.....huh.gif

Think our defence is the mainstay of the team , without checking we conceded least goals up to a few weeks ago . Our problem is scoring , Ithink we're 3rd or 4th lowest scorers in the league . As for zizi we play Glenrothes at home .

It's interesting how supporters see things differently, and obviously you see your team much more often than I do. If I remember rightly though you played 3 at the back against us in the semi final of the League Cup too, and we somehow won on a night when you created enough chances against us to win 2 games. Agree our keeper(s) didn't have too many saves to make on Saturday, but that was mainly down to our own solid defending. The bobbly surface at the weekend didn't help either set of forwards much too.

Were not there yet, Glenrothes were the better team for the first 30mins.Lucky to go in leading at h-t. But after that Sauchie got more of a hold of the game and ran out deserved winners.
