thelegendthatis
DUFF and Phelps, the administrators of Rangers Football Club, issued the following statement today. Paul Clark, joint administrator, said: General information section: " we had anticipated completing our review of staffing levels and cost structure of the Rangers business this week. the business is trading at a loss and we must find savings of £1 million per month to ensure viability. What we have put off again: There have efforts to achieve the necessary cost reductions, but the final decisions have been postponed until early next week. Something we have actually done: We made this week an emergency application to the High Court in London to secure money held in the client account of solicitors, CB, who had acted for the purchaser of the Club in May 2011.CB paid approximately £3.6m to our lawyers, Taylor Wessing, to be held securely by Taylor Wessing until the High Court decides whether or not it is the Club's money. CB will also disclose to Taylor Wessing details of the payments of funds out of their account on behalf of the Club since May 2011.The High Court in London will hear further representations on the administrators' claim to the money and our request for further information from CB on 8 March 2011. How we want to prepare you for further inaction: Since legal proceedings are ongoing we cannot provide further information Great work guys. What fees have you billed this week?
Gaz FFC
So Haudit and Daudit don't really know how to do announcements do they. Remember the press conference they did 2 weeks a go yesterday? A quick refresher, We are not Craig Whites bitches, we can't answer any questions any journalists asks at this moment. (f**king great press conference) Now after several days of todays the day we have a "we'll do it next week" Fuxake, these morons are either p&b fans who want to keep this thread going or they are 2 of the most spineless twats to grace planet earth. Remember the 1st press conference started 35 mins late? That was because these 2 tits were behind the curtain playing rock, paper, scissors to decide who would talk. BinoBalls
Wonder if the media will be picking up on the admin team's complete inaction with regards to redundancies? They should ask some small business creditor how they feel about whittaker picking up another 20k this week at their expense, all because Haud and Daud havent done their job description yet.
lithgierose
Its all getting a little boring now. Excuses after excuses from the administrators, not a peep from HMRC and the media trotting out the same old lines. Why are they still trading? No other business would be allowed to continue in this state. Nothing we're not used to i suppose. so rangers are to make savings of 1 million a month. if hmrc see that they can do this(if they do)surely they(hnrc)should be holding the hands out for some of the savings. how much did rfc owe the tax man 2 weeks ago? and how much now with add ons PS. one home game in march ?. vikingTON
You have no sense of geography. Sure, going to Ibrox from Airdrie means passing Motherwell on the way. Only in your head. Is Motherwell closer to Airdrie than Govan, or further away? Does it cost less, or more, by public transport? Your grandfather chose to ignore all clubs that weren't Rangers because Rangers were winning trophies year after year. That is the only basis for your family's support: gloryhunting. Which is why it will be pleasing to everyone else when your parasite club goes bust. Edited March 2, 2012 by vikingTON
Tibbermoresaint
Has anyone asked McCoist's opinion of the tax case? After all, he is an ex-taxman.
greyman
No but wait i think ra peepul have came up with a fool proof plan http://forum.rangersmedia.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=212694 That would send the crime rate soaring for strathclyde police. Muggings, burglaries and shop lifting all soaring so 'the people' could raise money. Maybe some could ask for a poverty grant from this dss?
greyman
Just saw an ad for 'the Scottish football debate'. Translated, 'the old firm debate and how much of a benefit they are to the other pub teams, especially the people, who, if liquidation, would be a massive loss for every club in Scotland as we wouldn't know how they would survive without the might of the Glasgow Rangers'.

Two people doing a one person job but lazily, such as hammering in a nail. one holds it and one hits it. This seems to be a gamble ploy by the Admins, delay the cuts and get 2nd in SPL for @£1 mil in prizemoney.
AyrshireTon
1330701182[/url]' post='6018807']The silence of the other clubs in this whole senario is shocking, know our place indeed. I guess it's like testifying against a mobster and then finding out he has been found not guilty. You'd be shitting yourself forever and invariably get done in. Same analogy here.
EdinburghPar1975
Shambolic from the admin guys, its not going to help the team at all as they will have their heads up their arses worried about their jobs. If they manage a win do the players still get bonuses???

MEADOWXI
Genuinely am surprised that some of the smaller real creditors haven't made it into the media. The printers, the pie man, the stationers etc. There must be dozens of small company suppliers to them that have money outstanding. Yet not one has been on TV or in the papers. Have seen the effects that the debt to Dunfermline has on them what about the money owed to all the other creditors. They must be sitting finding it appalling that the Admin men have wasted another weeks worth of salaries to Durrant, Naismith, Healey, Broadfoot etc - money that would clear some of the bills I'm sure. Maybe some of the media should get off their arses and stop reporting that Fat Ally cried himself to sleep last night and start looking at how Administration inaction is damaging the small creditors chances of seeing any cash at all. They are insolvent, they will never be solvent again, trading as insolvent is illegal - deal with it ya pair of wasters and kill them Edited March 2, 2012 by MEADOWXI
