vikingTON
A CVA with only £8.5m guaranteed in the pot the rest to be made up of the proceeds of the legal case against Colyer Bristow. When is that legal case expected to be concluded as by the sounds of it any CVA will be reliant on the conclusion of the legal action and they are assuming the verdict goes in their favour. All sounds like more of the same - real seat of the pants stuff. Pretty sure an article some 200 pages back said that the case was deferred until October.
pozbaird
Hughie Green has previous involvement with the blades, right? Won't be his last if he fcuks over the Ranjurs.
WaffenThinMint
Everyone copy and paste this into an email and link to it then send it to the chairman of your clubs before they vote on Newco rules on the 30th of this month and before they end up having to vote on whether or not to allow a newco into the SPL. Don't forget to include the part about your season ticket purchase being dependent on no newco Rangers in the SPL. This might be a bit more useful, as it shows the post in question, the URL to it (which even if it is taken down will easily be found in the Google cache), and the overwhelmingly positive response it got. Send a message to the clubs, with a link to the pic and they can see for themselves why wanting to keep Rangers in the SPL on economic grounds is a non-argument when they're only going to boycott all the other clubs grounds anyway.
vikingTON
Incidentally, it really would be delicious if they somehow managed to get a CVA through. After all, the only way HMRC won't control the CVA is if the Big Tax Case hasn't been concluded. Which means that when they lose the Big Tax Case, the post-CVA Rangers would surely incur a far, far bigger debt than the current runt version. Which is why it all rather smacks of smoke and mirrors, especially at this stage in proceedings. Why did Green and Co. not make a binding deal for the club in March?
Hipster Dufus
I've just received correspondence from an impeccable source. HMRC are going to hammer them *edit: typo* Can you expand on that? Nae names, nae pak drill of course.
GunnerBairn
And HMRC - This is what I've been thinking. None of this matters if HMRC do the right thing and pull the trigger. The big tax case result is due and round the corner. £75m!! Finish them HMRC, finish them off!! Edited May 13, 2012 by GunnerBairn
ebeneezer
If they propose a CVA and the creditors turn round and say no thanks, what happens next? Immediate liquidation? If the club does liquidate, who decides what price the assets can be sold at? Would players under contract command a transfer fee or would they be free to go the minute the club was wound up? Fife Saint
Only 52 of the 26k members had voted to boycott. Is there an up to date total?

To be fair, there will be more tomorrow when the schools & libraries with PC access open back up.

What a bell end this guy "the booler" is. Bet he was spouting this shit when the deluded thought it was "Miller Time" the other week. Still expect Green and his posse will do a runner when they see the books.

welshbairn
Latest from the RM boycott thread Go have a read of Pie and Bovril. The fans of the other clubs hate us with a passion. They were absolutely drooling over our problems and clamouring for more and tougher penalties. Now its time for payback. Not just to get it right up them (which is worthwhile in itself), but so they know that actions have consequences and that we can and will hurt their diddy clubs in the pocket.
Jussy
I don't understand how they're qualifying clubs who've stuck the knife in over on that RM thread. http://forum.rangersmedia.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=220073&st=60 Enjoyed a wee mention of P&B's vitriol on page 4 though. We must be close to making the list of enemies.

Guest Kincardine
Marketing Rangers in Asia, I used to work with a die hard "loyalist " fan who refused point blank to shop in any thing resembling an Asian shop followed by chinese and Indian restaurants . I wonder where the SDL sell their papers? This only shows 2 things. 1. Your mate is/was a w****r and 2. You're a w****r for posting this and thinking it's at all representative of Rangers fans.
p&b is a disgrace
A friend whose missus is quite high ranking in the organisation. Can't say more than that I know senior people in HMRC who have been telling me this for 4 or 5 years.........but its still not happened. So I'm not holding my breath.
