cyderspaceman
Nothing to do with this list but I've been quietly filling in a word document with names of Rangers fans I know who have stated in the last couple of weeks "I'm past caring" or "I don't give a f**k". I'm planning on posting this list on facebook on the eve of the new season. You can add all of the players walking away in the next few days. At least they don't have to worry about rver having to come back to play at Ibrox. As an aside, this thread seems to have slowed down recently. Are we all getting bored? Fatigued? Just saving it for next week?

FinnesTON
Posted Today, 03:59 PM CanadianBacon, on 24 June 2012 - 03:52 PM, said: Let them go - let any of them who don't want to stay f**k OFF. In 10-years time when this new Rangers is back at the top and regularly winning things the only way anyone will remember the names of these ship-jumpers is when we 'spit'. f**k them. The club's survival is paramount. Players (even deserting rats) come and go. i agree, but we also have to be realistic to what this does to the future of the club. What are the players realisticaly valued at? Mcgregor 5-8m? Naismith 5-8m? Whittaker 2-4m? Lee Wallace 2-4m? Bocanegra 2m? McCabe 2m+? Ness 2m+? Edu 2-4m? Davis 4-6m? Lafferty 2-4m? Goian 1m+? Perry 2m+? Alexander 1m+? I wouldnt expect any of those guys to stay if we end up in the 3rd division, but if we can get transfer fees in that kind of ball park for these guys the long term future of the club is bolstered to then deal in/out as we climb the divisions. If they all walk away for nothing and snapped up on frees by other clubs, it's probably by far the bigest hammer blow in this whole sordid affair. Now I don't want to point out the hypocrisy in all this but it seems like these people have some sort of amnesia considering they washed away some £124 million and these assets should have been sold as part of the administration process to maximise the return for the creditors. The fact that this guy sees players exercising their legal rights not to join a Newco as the worst thing thats happened shows a lack of understanding of what they have done. They have fucking cheated to remain in the position they were in, when they are found guilty their honours should be striped from them. If these players were ineligible to play in the SPL would they be ineligible to play in Europe ?
Howlin' Wilf
Green says he is standing by his legal threat on players contracts. Greens threat. He is surely delusional.
Broccoli Dog
Maybe if every Rangers supporter chipped in £10 they could purchase the technology behind the holographic Tupac and project the 9-in-a-row team onto the pitch every fortnight? The DA
Green says he is standing by his legal threat on players contracts. Greens threat. You don't think Green would go so far as to take this contracts issue to court with the sole intention of pissing off FIFA/UEFA and getting Scotland expelled? Vindictive barsteward, brinksmanship or just doesn't have a clue?
TheTodd
Green says he is standing by his legal threat on players contracts. Greens threat. If I was a Rangers fan I'd be deeply concerned about this guy, he seems to be off his rocker or he knows he's wrong but he's doing it anyway.

WeeHectorPar
How the f#ck is this Greenie a businessman at all? I would not back him with 10p let alone the supposed millions of his mystery investors. If I were one of them I would be calling my money in right now before he does any more damage. He should have been 100% certain of the TUPE implications and even if there was a 1% chance the players could walk away - he should have been trying to ensure they transferred over with some gentle persuasion and a lot of communication. It sounds like none of that has taken place. He seems to have all the business acumen of a muppet! He doesn't give a toss about the club or the players. All he is interested in is Ibrox and MP. Why the hell should he worry himself about results when he can lease out the grounds to some other deranged twat, because there will be one, who wants Rangers to carry on.

cyderspaceman
I think Green is slowly but surely going loopy. He doesn't have a leg to stand on re players objecting to the TUPE transfer. OK, I've changed my mind. You are correct, he IS loopy. Bonkers.
