Although we don't care as we're all about the dignity maybe each case was treated on its particular merits. maybe Hearts can take the piss with their embargo in similar fashion to Zombie FC Edited August 1, 2013 by Ken Fitlike 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
scoobles Posted August 1, 2013 Share Posted August 1, 2013 SFA probably thought that a billionaire with wealth off the radar could pay a piddling little fine? 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
weirdcal Posted August 1, 2013 Share Posted August 1, 2013 Maybe, just maybe, the sfa have realised adding further financial burden to a stricken club won't be seen as helpful. The cynic in me thinks they knew oldco rangers were screwed and newco already had the embargo armed and ready so what's the point of adding to it? 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

For a massive European powerhouse on a rocket-propelled surge to glory, they don't half sound like a gaggle of whiny little bitches, about 90% of the time. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Stu Posted August 1, 2013 Share Posted August 1, 2013 Are Rangers looking for a refund? Maybe they should get Anne Robinson and Watchdog on the case. Oh wait, Watchdog is on the BIASED and CORRUPT BBC so they can't go down that route. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

kiddy Posted August 1, 2013 Share Posted August 1, 2013 See this £50k, did they actually pay it, or did it just go the same way as the WTC & other creditor debts, like the face painters? 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Because it is a massive conspiracy and nobody likes us. Although we don't care as we're all about the dignity They seem to forget, unlike Hearts and Dunfermline The old Rangers tried to con a few clubs, making bids with money they knew they didn't have only a few weeks before going into admin http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2010113/Dundee-United-chairman-issues-warning-Rangers-Goodwillie.html United have grown increasingly angry to read about Ibrox officials discussing the player in public, even though they have had a bid of over £1million rejected for the 22-year-old. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/16822287 Rangers have failed with a bid for Norwich striker Grant Holt. The_Kincardine Posted August 1, 2013 Share Posted August 1, 2013 For those too lazy to look here is the statement: RANGERS Football Club notes today's verdict by the Disciplinary Tribunal who ruled that Hearts cannot register any players over the age of 21 between now and February 1, 2014. We also recall that Dunfermline were given a similar sanction in May. But in particular, Rangers are aware of the glaring differences in the sanctions imposed on three clubs who entered administration. Our club, Rangers, was hit with a £50,000 fine and given a 12 month registration embargo. While no-one at this Club wishes to see others fall on hard times, questions must be asked about these anomalies and we fully understand the rising anger among our fans. They are entitled to think there is one rule for our club and another for everyone else. We will be seeking clarification for our fans. What Mather forgets is this: No one gives a f**k about Hertz or the Fifie mob. Our admin thread is above 130,000 posts. This is another world record for The Gers and shows who matters in Scottish football. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Was it the club that received the fine, or was it the company? 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
~~~ Posted August 1, 2013 Share Posted August 1, 2013 When rattled apply yer deid strategy and lets have a discussion about new club old club. I'm asking because I don't know, it can be hard to keep up with the club / company things at times, considered its never been applied before Rangers went tits up. If you don't want to answer, or don't know. thats fine. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Is the registration ban for the same length of time?...after all we must have all clubs treated in the same way. What we really have now is absolute conclusive proof that Rangers were harshly treated by the footballing authorities in our hour of need. This should never be forgotten by the supporters of the club,the players or the management!! 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
