WhiteRoseKillie Posted February 17, 2015 Share Posted February 17, 2015 (edited) The seats are still there, still as comfortable as before. Who's sitting in them? Edited February 17, 2015 by WhiteRoseKillie 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Ross. Posted February 17, 2015 Share Posted February 17, 2015 (edited) A few years at the height of 9IAR perhaps but quite a few of them were close. 30 years before Rangers were not in the top division takes us back to 81/82 3 seasons it was won by an non OF team 22 Seasons it was won by less than 10 points 14 Seasons the both of the OF did not even finish in the top 2 Basically you are talking out of your arse. If we take the 9 in a row as the starting point, I would say that 5 of the 9 you would have predicted with confidence and got right. 2 at the start when Aberdeen challenged and 2 at the end when Celtic challenged being the exception. Advocaat's first 2 seasons were a gimme. O'Neill's 2nd and 3rd titles you would have confidently predicted. Strachans 2nd title you'd have predicted. Smiths 2nd and 3rd title in his second spell you would have predicted before hand and got right. The last 3 for Celtic you'd have predicted. Taking 88-89 as the starting point, you could confidently have predicted 16 of the 25 titles. That ignores the fact that for everyone outside of those who follow Celtic or Rangers, it was a forgone conclusion in all 25 seasons. WhiteRoseKillie Posted February 17, 2015 Share Posted February 17, 2015 Sad, bitter and twisted b*****ds that are trying to derail a football club from going about it's legitimate business. They won't succeed though. Company, surely, youngsy? See how easy it is to get confused when you buy into an inconsistent myth? 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
nsr Posted February 17, 2015 Share Posted February 17, 2015 That ignores the fact that for everyone outside of those who follow Celtic or Rangers, it was a forgone conclusion in all 25 seasons. This being the crucial point that Sevticonians seem utterly incapable of grasping. Nobody cares which of them wins. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
youngsy Posted February 17, 2015 Share Posted February 17, 2015 Do you never get tired of repeating other peoples lies? Why engage with people if you are just going to talk rubbish, you could ignore them and at least give the impression that you believe your club didn't die? As is the lady doth protest too much. What lies would this be then. Is the continuity recognised, i'll help you out here, yes it is, so can you inform me where are the lies in that stated, please. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
youngsy Posted February 17, 2015 Share Posted February 17, 2015 Company, surely, youngsy? See how easy it is to get confused when you buy into an inconsistent myth? We've done that but as you're going to be pedantic, ok then a company that runs a football club. Happy now. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Oh, the continuity is recognised by those who it suits to recognise it. As with religions, conspiracy theorists and other associated nutjobs, that doesn't make it fact. The only (afaia) time there has been any kind of challenge in law over the continuity was in the case of employee contracts under TUPE. Remind us how that one panned out? Abso-fucking-lutely. My club didn't die, you see. Still the oldest professional club in Scotland, and still playing topflight football. We even won at the weekend. What's not to like? 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

As has been explained many times it was rangers fans that hailed his heroic arrival, that p's and d's now refer to him as such is to wind up those idiots. As for the "is the continuity recognised?" rubbish. If I told you a cork notice board was an LG TV would you buy it off me for £300? 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
No8. Posted February 17, 2015 Share Posted February 17, 2015 You will for the next ten years though. You're even more optimistic than i am. I think you have to give the New Board time to bed in though then after next season i fully expect Rangers to win every league title for 3 or 4 years...10 is pushing it 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

~~~ Posted February 17, 2015 Share Posted February 17, 2015 (edited) Can't believe they're still clinging onto the myth "it's the same club" I've always wonder why if it's so easy to separate the club and company, why didn't Craig Whyte simply offer to buy the "club" without the company Same with Bill Miller, should have easily bought the club without the debt ridden company. Even Charlie Green said in his early days it would be the death of the club if the CVA failed and it went into liquidation. I can't even recall anyone in the media prior to liquidation mentioning it was possible to purchase the club on its own without the company. I do remember after the CVA failed all media outlets reporting it was the death of Rangers, did they just all just make a mistake? It's as if everyone involved forgot you could buy the club without the company..... Until Charlie bought the Woolworth assists. Sorry I mean Rangers Anyone want to answer my above points please.Surely it's an easy one for you to answer without much effort involved Edited February 17, 2015 by Enrico Annoni 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Romeo Posted February 17, 2015 Share Posted February 17, 2015 “@RichwilBBC: Grange Hotels confirm that they have declined to host the RIFC GM” The fans of this new club are carrying the reputation of the fans of the old club. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
nsr Posted February 17, 2015 Share Posted February 17, 2015 Oh please let that be true. Utterly outstanding. Silly Sevconians don't realise their pantomime villain-bashing antics are only damaging the club. Or the company. Whichever it is this week. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
GreenockRover Posted February 17, 2015 Share Posted February 17, 2015 Anyone else get the feeling ra bears are conducting this campaign of derailing a London based EGM to try and force it back to Ibrox ? Seems....."convenient" B) 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
