I shall be astounded if you give me a cogent reply. Why do you have to be "more concerned than you have in years"? Concern doesn't have to mean that you think the end of days is coming. Two reasons I'd be concerned if it were Hearts now is that 1) The ongoing costs of running the club are things which Rangers appear to be struggling to pay so adding 5million back to Ashley, as well as the costs of yet another GM are not going to help. 2) We all know why Rangers were delisted but in a GM this will officially be stated. It's going to be officially made apparent that King et al do not have the resources to run the club - what will the consequences of this? There is no doubt the £5m will be paid back at some point, the facts remain, the £5m loan has no payment schedule, it carries no interest, he owns 8.5% of Rangers and 75% of RR, he does not own the other assets, he merely has security over them. Just so that I'm clear on this.It's your belief that because there's no formal repayment schedule, the loan is only repayable as and when your Board can be bothered to do so? I have posted before about my eldest having here GCSEs at the moment (and my middle one doing a GCSE in year 9) and what rips my knitting when I am doing revision with them is simple: They don't answer the fucking question. As implied with the start of my reply, you don't have to be "more concerned than you have in years" to simply be concerned that this news may have a negative impact on the clubs present situation. The original post of mine never suggested you should be more concerned than you have been in years, only that I was surprised that Rangers fans were not more concerned.
