Now that Rangers are dead, the list of perennial diddies has shrunk dramatically. Even Ayr add some silverware to the dustiest, emptiest trophy room in Scottish football. B - Do they realise that 3rd division dug outs are not big enough to take their coaching staff? Why have none of them been paid off yet? I mean, a goalkeeping coach in the 3rd division, gies peace. 3 - What is the craic with the out of contract players like Neil Alexander they have at the moment? I don't think 'Rangers' have any bargaining position whatsoever here. If they refuse to the conditions on this membership, they'll not get their SFA membership and will have to re-apply for the leagues. They should really just take their medicine and get on with it. I'm sure whatever attendance they do get, it'll be the uber proddies banging out the Billy Boys endlessly - not my idea of a good time even if we do gub them. Tis true enough for Queens - of course, the caveat to this is Morton getting their hands on the 1948 Scottish Cup: as all of defunct Rangers' tainted titles revert to their rightful owners in my book. And the 1964 League Cup. Ayr and Raith remain on the perma-diddy list, but Ayr fans get to have their own '1994' moment to bang on about at 15 seconds notice.
