How will the SPL pay these amounts? Of course they are entitled to the claims, Sevco are not though. I'd imagine that the reason they have been held back was to make certain that D&P never handed the cash to Sevco as Charlie wanted but to make sure that creditors were in the queue. The "separate" point that you make contradicts your first point in that if the SFA and SPL truly believed Sevco were a continuation then they would be paid what they were due. This due to the fact that the Rangers situation is being played out in two worlds. The real world where the law takes precedence and the made up world where two entities can exist as one. That letter was dated before there were two Rangers though Tedi fine you know it. The materialisation of second Rangers complicated the issue. Basically the prize-money belongs to oldco in real world. It belongs to Sevco only on planet Sevconia but the beaks have yet to figure out how to approach this aberration.
