ECA is a well rspected organisation throughout European clubs to represent those clubs at UEFA,who incidentally fund ECA and fully recognise and accepting of the findings as regards UEFA members clubs interests,such as the recognition of historical timelines. Are they not the successor to G14 or 16 or something? That was the group set up to push for greater rights for big teams. Their lobbying had much to do with the evolution of the Champions' League. Whether you accept such decisions isn't the issue though. It turns out of course that I was entirely right. ECA is indeed a successor to G14. It now has more members, but they're all drawn from the biggest clubs in each country.
