hellbhoy
You only see what you want to see, that's fine doesn't bother me. But I suppose the accounts are the next big talking point about 'Scotland's most successful club', unless someone does something very stoopid in the next couple of weeks. Actually ASA does not agree with your philosophy there any more . The accounts when they come out should be fascinating and riveting stuff on the levels of whataboutery and deflection on how much money the club has before plunging into what looks like a preplanned administration event.

Fotbawmad
I'll go for ra bears going into tears of rage and screaming "why didn't someone tell us" & "why didn't someone do something sooner" TBF to the manky mob, its far too late to do anything meaningful. The wheels in motion to a sale and leaseback are already at full steam Edited September 16, 2013 by Fotbawmad

Has there been a two-week period since last February in which nobody at ibrox has done something "very stoopid"? Because I'm fucked if I can remember such a sustained period of stability at Orc Central. -
Ken Fitlike
If Ra Bearz think that the upcoming AGM will enable them to get rid them of the current feckless directors then think again .. Don't forget 'currant buns that ALL of the shares that you purchased during the IPO at an inflated price are NON-VOTING. Whilst all of the shares which were gifted 'free of charge' and purchased at a pittance by your new 'clumpany's bigshots' are VOTING shares. With the Easdales (Green's puppets) on board a large chunk of the voting shares are presently owned by your current board. They cannot vote for themselves but they can vote for each other. In short your money is gone, your voice will be ignored (again!!) - you are not important enough (until next years Seasons Ticket sale of course) ... so always sit back and wait for the leaseback of Ibrokes to happen along with the AGM full hype as to how wonderful things are. Of course you can always blame the Tic .. surely it's 4 Abherghreen fans with a banner who are to blame for the The Rangers woes......

They will be investigating the 400 complaints about Jim's breach of their guidelines. Do you think we could get 400 or more letters/emails of support for Jim, citing Judge Colin Bishopp's description of a club being a commercial enterprise and not a club in the true sense of the word in defense of poor old Jim? http://www.bbc.co.uk/bbctrust/who_we_are/audience_councils/scotland/get_involved.html acs@bbc.co.uk It'll only takes 5 minutes.

flyingrodent
To be fair, the BBC Trust usually takes a look at most things that generate numerous complaints. This decision brackets the Newco fans squarely in with minority political groups who have crazy politics; cranks who think global warming is an elite conspiracy; thin-skinned religious minorities who believe they're being persecuted etc. etc. Which is, of course, exactly where they belong.

aofjays
You do see the irony in this post? When Stoney says "new Rangers fan" you expect him to be talking about a a new person contacting the BBC but he's actually refering to a fan of new Rangers?

Well, no professional club in the SPFL is a club in that "true sense of the word" so, if you're going to go with the Bishopp, we should all give up this new club/old club patter. None of us have a club to support. -

What next, does Rangers' death mean we have to crash Scotland into Iceland, or something?

A new company now runs a football team at Ibrox.
