PudgieTheSheep
Some spaces would be nice, that's murder on a wee screen. Paragraphs. You're asking for paragraphs. And since the writing didn't require them they weren't used. Are you sure you didn't just dislike what the words said?

nacho
This is the crux of the issue with the new Rangers. Why are those that follow them continuing to allow such financial waste from those that run them? Surely even they realise that there are increased levels of struggle from their neighbours across the city to reach the promises land of the CL group stages and the increased number of qualifying rounds for even the Europa league means regular European football is a long way away for Rangers. I just don't see where this increased level of income to sustain Rangers is going to come from. Looking at the squad, they don't have a Forster/Wanyama/Hooper/Van Dijk that they can punt for millions, income won't increase dramatically with promotion and as I've said regular European football is miles off. So is it just a case of spend spend spend until the roof caves in again or is there ever going to be some sort of sustainable plan at Ibrox if you watched us week in and week out you would see that a number of the players have great potential to be sold for big fees in the future - waghorn, tavernier, mackay, holt and foderingham for starters, the two guys we signed from accrington stanley would also have gone for decent money to teams higher up in the english league system, we are just going to get better as these guys develop , we are 2 or 3 first teamers away from challenging for the spfl title next season, as for spending outwith out means, celtic do it to the tune of about 10 million a season

NewBlue
wrong on all three counts. you are in for a shock next season if you believe otherwise Hearts skooshed the league last year and even if you win your next 17 games you will only just beat their points total (and it is likely you will drop at least half a dozen points). They are in third place this year and have made a decent go at second. I don't think The Rangers will do better than that next season but then again there is always the chance you will be bust by then.

Was It not the case that Tavernier couldn't get a game for Wigan (I may be wrong). All of these players are going to need to prove themselves at the top end of the Scottish Premiership for a considerable amount of time and show themselves to be strolling it (in the same sort of ways as the guys that I mentioned did) every week for a couple of seasons before that sort of money is even considered. In the same way that Cuellar and Boumsong did for old Rangers. Rangers have repeatedly fallen short when it's mattered and I'd genuinely be surprised if they finish ahead of Aberdeen, Hearts and St J next season. As saints showed in the cup this season, there will be no fear from teams who go there anymore and I'd certainly expect McInnes to set Aberdeen up to win a game in Mordor and he won't be the only manager thinking that way. Motherwell also managed to vastly illustrate the gulf in class and unless the two or three first teamers are centre halfs then I think your faith is misplaced. Anytime I've seen Wildon and Keirnan they have looked a total car crash.

muirkirk nil
££££££££ http://www.heraldscotland.com/sport/14189083.Rangers_First_consider___500k_loan_offer_to_Ibrox_board/?ref=twtrec RANGERS FIRST have today started polling members over a potential £500k interest free loan to the Ibrox club. The fan ownership scheme have become one of the largest shareholders in RIFC plc in recent months and continue to collect a significant sum of money each month. Now the group have offered half a million pounds to the Light Blues board on the same terms as the loans provided by chairman Dave King and the Three Bears consortium. If approved, the loan could be converted to shares at a future date to further strengthen Rangers First's hand and give supporters a greater say in the running of their club. RF members have until January 10 to cast their vote and the resolution requires 75% approval to be passed. In a letter to members today, RF say: "Rangers First is the 8th largest shareholder in the Club and we remain committed to increasing your shareholding in the Club. "We are always looking at ways in which to build our holding while also contributing to the rebuilding of our Club and we have such an opportunity to present for members' approval today."We believe you, as our members, want to help to drive the push for promotion and get our team and Club back to where we belong. "As you know loans have been provided to the Club and the Rangers First Board also want to give our members the option to contribute. We are therefore asking you to decide whether or not to join with Dave King, the Three Bears and others and offer the Club a loan of half a million pounds. "If the necessary approvals are obtained, then the intention is that the loan will be converted to shares which will increase the shares held by Rangers supporters in the club."The loan would be on the same terms as Dave King and the 3 Bears and would be made available in the middle of January with drawdowns through to the end of the Season. "The loan will be interest free, unsecured and will run until a share or rights issue can take place with a longstop date for repayment of two years. The Club would also have the option of being able to repay it at any time in that period. "Your Board has had much discussion and debate regarding this and believes that this may be one of the best ways for Rangers First to help the Club continue to rebuild, develop and expand. "This is a key issue on which RF asks its members to decide, we are therefore asking members to approve your CIC making a loan of half a million pounds to Rangers International Football Club PLC."
