I see Walter also said "I think it [ill feeling towards Rangers] will always be there.'

Judging by the reaction on this thread then it looks like he is right about this too.

"Having 'Ill feelings' for something could comfortably be described as being bitter, just you keep ignoring this if it makes you believe I stated something which In fact I did not."

Aye you bloody well did.

It's really quite simple: you thought WS was referring to other fans being bitter towards 'Rangers'. In actual fact he was referring to 'Rangers' fans being bitter.

It was a fairly easy mistake to make, but not admitting that you made an easy slip is kind of embarrassing tbh.

Except I never.

Since you are being all protective of your old heroes, how do you feel about the club being responsible for the imminent tax bills and possible bankruptcy of former players?

Do you believe the club should make good with their promise to those players to pay all taxes due?

Walter said that that there will always be ill feeling towards Rangers, this could comfortably be described as there will always be bitterness towards Rangers, or is this too simple a concept for you?

Nah. He's doing fine. You are reading stuff that's not there, again, to make the facts fit to your agenda.

Has there been a statement saying 'Rangers are responsible for these tax bills' or is this something you have read on the Scottish Rangers Football Monitor?

The chancellor announced it in his budget.

There's nowhere else I can go with this: I've pointed out where you went wrong, in that you mistook the cardigan's quote as referring to the wrong 'side'.

You're obviously unable to process this monumentally clear fact, so I'm not going to engage any more with you on this, you're incapable of adult discussion.

Wattie: "There was no necessity for Rangers to be put down into the Third Division and I think that's the thing that will always stay in Scottish football. I think there'll be a bitterness in the Rangers ranks that that's happened."

Seems the old clown has forgotten that 98% of Rangers fans wanted to go to the bottom tier.

But now that they're in the premier league, they're angry their wish came true.

Basically they're still hurting that everyone pointed and laughed at them in way that will never be bettered for as long as football is played in Scotland. We got to laugh, they get to be angry. I'll take that deal.

Right, so you are claiming that having ill feeling towards something could not also be described as being bitter? If so, we disagree.

There are plenty of ill feelings which can be held without bitterness Tedi. Edited by stonedsailor

The chancellor stated in the budget that Rangers 'Rangers are responsible for these tax bills' ?

You just made that up, you read a Rangers porn blog from some eejit who put 2+2 together and came up with 12, I predict it will come as true as the rest of the straws you cling to.

He said he would go after the recipient of EBTs if their employers were unable to pay. I was referring to the EBT recipients at Rangers, can their employers, of the time pay?

You cannot confuse the side when he refers to it in the quote;

"I think it [ill feeling towards Rangers] will always be there."

it would help if you understood this of course, alas you never will, probably best you slink off in a childish strop then.

Strangely the article I read ( Daily Record) stated '"I think it (ill feeling) will always be there" no mention of "towards Rangers"

So he did not say 'Rangers' then, in fact you are just hoping that something happens, your question should have been.

Come back to me if your wankfest scenario ever becomes reality.

You didn't have to be so bitter. I understand that you have mixed emotions now.

One minute it's "yeah! We stiffed the HMRC and can carry on as if nothing happened" the next it's "f**k, what if that glory has been the ruination of my old heroes? Where can I direct my anger? I can't blame the club I lubs so very much? JUST IGNORE IT, IT MIGHT GO AWAY.."

Since Kinky doesn't seem to be about.

While I'm sure all concerned know this. [] in a quote denotes words added by the writer that are not part of the original quote. This is done to aid clarity but can cause the writers own bias to creep in.

So where we are is, rangers fans are still telling silly little fibs to try to wind up the people that are laughing at them.

FTFY

Remember rangers fans have zero interest in reality. The will back any muppet that tells them what they want to hear even if it's obvious nonsense. They will also organise marches and boycotts against organisations that dare to tell them the truth. It's a good thing they are such an arrogant bunch or I'd be in danger of feeling bad for laughing at the the poor souls.
