I take it you know this guy, CIM?

im a bit concerned about the club just now. One young lad who is a centre half so far and the window closing soon. No rumours about who he are after. We live in hope

Still over a week of the window which works out about three years in Dunfermline.

Drove past a very sodden Pitreavie there. Was a good number taking part in training and also one other seemed to be running on their own with a member of staff around the new artificial surface that has just been installed so hopefully that's someone nearing full training. All guesses I suppose, could be Zack Rudden or another new player doing some sort of medical! Impossible to see who was who today for obvious reasons, jackets, snoods and hats galore!

It will be the players who are coming back from injury. Lewis McCann was down yesterday doing running.

Aye it's hard to say as you've only got that 10 seconds when driving past but would certainly say the player looked a bit Lewis McCannish 🤣

You're concerned because there's no rumours?

We surely all know by now how the January window works. Most of the stuff won't happen until later on.

I don't want to risk an injury...

I'd actually love to take a walk round the pitches and have a wee snoop. I start later on a Monday/Tuesday for childcare so I'm always going past at about 11:30 so try and catch a look but it's tricky. Last season my wee boy was doing the Pars Foundation mini dribblers at Pitreavie and in the spring months they used the outside pitches. The class would finish just as the first team had went on to the big pitch to train so I'd hope my kid would want to hang about but he was more interested in that bloody windmill at FMC! 🤣

Might have been Fisher? Not wanting to risk any head injury before Saturday ?

Aye could be, although I think he was back in full training later last week. I think more likely McCann as the others with leg injuries won't be anywhere near running I don't think and this person looked a bit big to be Kane.

I noticed that the "Head of Professional" (dreadful name) is now advertised on the COWS. Wouldn't be shocked to see Joe Cardle doing something like this...

I found it interesting that the term "Head of Recruitment" was used in the description, wasn't aware such a role existed at the club.

I do not.

Anyone with the club’s best interests at heart though would either be sharing all the information they have or would be staying far away from football forums and social media.

If the details are so hush hush that they can’t be widely shared at this time then it would suggest the club’s future is at risk.

Anything less serious than that and it’s just thoroughly unserious people wanting to feel important.

You know the money on offer isn’t going to be great when a company doesn’t let you know what the salary will be…

Nah, I see job ads all the time with no salary indication.

Repeatedly calling all kinds of folk you don't know "c*nts" isn't very clever to be fair.

Any adult crying over what names a stranger calls them on a football forum has serious problems to be fair.

Jobs with good salaries?

Well, in my case it was pretty good!  All in perspective I suppose though. I don't think clubs want to advertise how much their paying anyone in the public eye.

Genuine question here. The role Greg Shields had… has the title been lost in translation somewhere?

“Head of Professional” - it just feels like there’s a word missing at the end. But it’s been used so often that it doesn’t seem like it’s just been missed in the article. The job title just makes no sense and you’d think someone would have tried to fix this? It’s just weird.
