JustOneCornetto
Really shock at this, just binge watched Friday Night Dinner last year and he was always great fun. Liked him in Chernobyl too.
Archie McSquackle
Really sad news. Surprised he was only 54."Lovely bit of squirrel" always raises a smile when we're having a chicken dinner. Now with a bit of added poignancy.
Dunfermline Don
FND was one of the rare occasions that our family would watch and laugh at the same thing. Having teenage sons probably helped us relate to it as well. He was definitely the star of the show and the fact he was only a year older than myself make it even more tragic and scary.

He was the star of the show.Awful news. It's a mark of a great actor when you see him in different roles and it takes a while to click that it's the same guy. He was hilarious in Friday Night Dinner, and chilling in Chernobyl, he was also very good in a spy thing on the BBC a few years back called The Game.
peasy23
Enjoyed the 10 year tribute show on Friday night, and very sad to see how ill Paul Ritter looked when it was filmed, but fair play to him for taking part. I was nearly in bits through Tamsin's intro so god knows how she got through it. Some good outtakes, but it was amazing that they ever managed to film the scene when Jim gets covered in paint without somebody laughing.
