Boghead ranter
Sorry to disrupt signing talk with some nostalgia. I'm somewhere in that big stand in the background. I believe that the wummin from the Morrisons' fish counter is too. Right, as you were.
Jan Vojáček
If it is those 4, I'd be pretty pleased with that. The two young guys come with good write ups and we know Walsh can be useful with a run of games. Craig Barr obviously has huge question marks over his injury record but probably worth the risk considering the market of players we're in. We could be in a spot of bother injury wise if we do sign Barr mind you, along with Nade, Stewart, Dowie is getting on and Grant Gall we have a few who could potentially be out if history repeats itself. But Stevie is the gaffer and I trust him. No idea if I'm right or not, but those rumours seemed the most feasible. Add in a 'keeper and another couple of players (Big striker for when Nadè gets injured and one other) and I think we'd have our squad. Considering all the negativity surrounding the place earlier in pre-season I'd be quite happy with it too.Anyone got a Reporter yet to let us know the news?

Sounds like Walsh is pretty much a done deal but Hilson has full time offers. The two loanees are correct and we hope to get them signed shortly.

Pleased with all of those players, it also looks to me like we'll be set up in quite an attacking way again which is nice.Nadé, Walsh, Hilson, SeaGal and Stewart is a decent looking attack with plenty of depth. Announce AWOOOGA now plz DFC

If we sign Porteous and Penrice we'll be able to field a back 4 of Smith, Dowie, Porteous and Penrice but with Dowie being 34 we will need more defenders in. I suppose there may be an argument that he doesn't want a back 4 consisting of 3 young guys on loan and he'll opt for a more experience head but we will definitely need cover and competition at the back.

But neither game nor the two Celtic semi finals from 1970 have ever surfaced sadly.
Jan Vojáček
According to the Stranraer website we're playing our annual friendly with them on July 1st at a neutral venue...that'll be New Tinto Park I'd imagine, just like the past few years. Hopefully it's similar to the last few where you can just walk in as well.
DumbartonTheSons
If the transfer rumours are true then that would seem quite positive. The two potential loanees seem highly rated and the defence would look to be decent if they signed.Hopefully there's a confirmation or two shortly...
