Northern Son
The app on my phone tells me that we won. Cannae be right, can it?
sonsism
Number 16 has cult hero status already. Sign him up.Pleasantly surprised by that. McKee looked really good and was like a Ross Forbes that can actually be arsed to run about. Third goal was well taken by the trialist too. Number 4 looked pretty solid and made up for his height with a good turn of pace. Think Quitongo and Crawford has decent games too - the latter looked quite positive going forward. All in all a pretty decent game for a friendly. Feeling a bit more optimistic after it.

It does dispel the horrific doom and gloom at least until Tuesday.

sons superhero
Thought 17 who got the third looked good also with a bit of pace too.
Popular Post Replays
Well done today lads. I’m really enjoying reading some of the Dundee United meltdowns on Twitter. As a reward, and because I’m waiting to go for my dinner on holidays, I’ve compiled a commentary of this momentous victory through the medium of ‘dank memes’. Previous friendly cancelled and only a few players of any quality signed. The match day squad is filled with ‘lower-league jobbers’ and trialists: James Duffy Esq. reacting to drawing 0-0 at half-time against Championship opposition, who albeit have played 2 games in the space of a single-day: Dumbarton take the lead through Trialist #16: United equalise through Shankland: Dumbarton re-take the lead through an emphatic finish from Trialist #7: Dundee United equalise with fifteen minutes left after Morgyn “Very Handsome” Neill fouls Aperre in the box. Aperre himself scores the penalty: A mere three minutes later, Trialist #17 disposes Mark Reynolds before showing some trickery and slotting the ball home. This goal prompts unrivalled tears over at @dundeeunitedfc as some of their fans cannot comprehend losing a pre-season friendly: Edited July 6, 2019 by Scott-Replay

Craig fae the Vale
How was the game? Did we play well?? Played well for the most part, really well in patches. Will be interested to see how many of the trialists end up with deals, was impressed with quite a few of them
optimistic
Number 16 seemed nervous at first, then brought out a few saves, then scored. Definitely one to idolise since he’s built like a pipe cleaner and taller than nish

sons superhero
A lot of good football played. There was a bit of pace in that team something we have been missing.
cameron2000
Promising and surprising result. I do believe Joe McKee has previous for looking really good when trying to win a new contract.

Sanity check needed.
Promising and surprising result. I do believe Joe McKee has previous for looking really good when trying to win a new contract.Dont think McKee was every given much of a chance at Falkirk, he looked good in his debut for us playing in a more attacking role and driving forward. Would of liked us to have given him a chance this season.Good luck in the season ahead.
lionel wickson
For me, season 1988-89 is possibly the worst season I've ever witnessed in over 52 years of supporting Sons. Brought into sharp focus by having finished 9th in the Premier League only 3 years earlier. In pre-season of 88-89 we beat West Bromwich Albion 2-1, so I'm not going to read too much into today's win, delightfully unexpected as it was.
