Has it reached the point in paranoia land where any criticisim of the Scottish government is seen as biased?

No but the Scotsman ceased being a Newspaper years ago. I dont expect pro government stories, but at least try to make a pretence of balanced reporting. Maybe they need to take a long hard look at the way the do report politics. Circulation is in meltdown.

The 'capitalist' Sheridan, the liar, the woking class man who lost his way will never again be of any political strength apart from being easy pickings for his opponents. He is finished.

Not a bad bloke though,i mean he was a good un until ego got the better of him.

Tommy was across in Ireland raging away on their HOUSEHOLD TAX!!! Which is essentially the EU's way of siphoning money to help pay off bondholders.

Tommy is going to have plenty of opportunity both at home and abroad to have a rage about taxation. And nothing he says or does is going to make a blind bit of difference. And if he thinks voting in a different set of politicians is going to make any difference, he's wrong. And even separating the UK into tiny little bits isnt going to matter a f**k either.

I don't know why John Swinney is having a go at Tommy Sheridan, for all his troubles with News International Tommy remains a very convincing public speaker and despite his views he does not come across as a particularly hardline "trot" on the TV, his "This Week" interview a few months ago being a prime example. Discredited personally or not he could make a far better case for Independence in 5 minutes than if you had a running daytime TV channel dedicated to allowing the likes of Christina McKelvie, Linda Fabiani and Kenny Gibson to air their views.

nah, he's a liar and a busted flush who sold out his party and his class.

parliamentary socialism in Scotland is finished because he couldn't admit the things he'd done, couldn't put the bigger interests at play ahead of his own narrow, selfish agenda.

The Yes for Scotland and Bedroom Tax campaigns are quite right to distance themselves from him, his involvement is simply an unnecessary distraction away from the substantive issues of these campaigns.

Time for Tommy to realise he's finished and fade away quietly into private life, there's no way back for him.

Hopefully the Guardian will die long before The Scotsman. I cant wait to dance on that particular buckled leftie rags grave. If it wasn't for the BBC's daily bulk order theyd be fucked.

I was trying to think of a NC or BP song that somehow fitted this thread, but no luck so far......

I occasionally come across a copy of The Guardian. The letters page is always good for a laugh!

Remember folks, this is Reynard, who mere months ago was insisting loudly that he wasn't a Unionist, and taking umbrage at anyone who described him as so...

In fairness I don't even think the forum Unionists believed him.
