Good luck to him if this is true but I'd love him to be staying. Kerr back on loan would make sense to both Saints and EF. Both on the fringes in Gary's league 2 team, so doubtful they'd get a lot of playing time a level up. Always though O'Kane looked decent when he was called upon though, and should get another club no problem.
