RandomGuy.
Won't Hibs be wanting a fee for him? If not, why not just free him with the others? Does it mean that if he can't find a club that suit him he'll be part of the Hibs squad next season? The wording was that hes apparently free to find another club
LANG TOON SAINTIE
You can have him, waste of a jersey and will be well suited to a club like st.johnstone. Yes I agree he is more suited to the Premiership than the Diddy leagues . Must really boil your piss that a club the size of hubs utterly failed to even compete with a club like St Johnstone. Zing.
Liam Craig has been totally shite most of the season. Looked like a scared wee boy on numerous occasions and never once seemed like a proper captain. He'll go elsewhere in the summer and get back on track to being an average premier league midfielder.
LANG TOON SAINTIE
Good player at a bad club dragged down by the shite all around him.

Fife Saint
Unbelievable how they managed to make him look so poor. It indicates something wrong at the core of the club. Worrying times for the Hibs.

Right, got it now thanks. It's basically Hibs wanting shot of him but not wanting to pay him off. It could still lead to an interesting situation if Craig doesn't get a suitable deal elsewhere. Cheers.
LANG TOON SAINTIE
Yup. Quite agree, hibs have gone down the pan. Time to flush I think.

I did wonder a while ago how many players would have some form of clause in their contract in the case of relegation. I don't imagine any would, due to the fact it must've seemed impossible whenever they signed
jamamafegan
Liam was fucking brilliant for us, hence why bigger club Hibs went after him. Hibs fans can judge him all they like, no one will take them seriously. Their club is a total, complete and utter shambles

It could still lead to an interesting situation if Craig doesn't get a suitable deal elsewhere. Cheers. It's a case of if he can find another club, they will release him from his contract. They encourage him to find another club by telling him he won't feature for them next season. He has the choice of whether to go and look for another club or just stay at Hibs and risk being frozen out. They would probably use him as he would be as good as anything they could hope to sign at that level. However he does run the risk of not playing much football next season and that would make finding a club even more difficult next summer. I think he has no real choice but to move on. The funny thing is... He will find another club in the premiership while Hibs languish in the championship. Terry Butcher really comes across as an arrogant man. His arm waving after the second Hamilton goal was nothing short of embarrassing on Sunday. He looked like a crazy old man. What would that have achieved? He's an idiot. Hibs won't get rid of him because it would be too expensive.

Must really boil your piss that a club the size of hubs utterly failed to even compete with a club like St Johnstone. Not true. On 4/1/14 Hibs were 2 points ahead of us after both played 20 matches (27 & 25 points). On 5/1/14 it was a 3 point lead for Hibs. On 11/1/14 we were level on 28 each. On 22/2/14 we were again level. By 31/3/14 we were 11 points ahead. Hibs competed well with Saints for a good while.
Shaggy Jenkins
I would love him back. Would even be tempted to play him in the middle alongside a ball winning midfielder. Much like Spoony (top of the assists chart) when he came to us, his goals and assists last season suggest that he was practically carrying that team. Spoony Craig Davidson O'Hallaron
Gaz FFC
Surprised Sevco aren't signing him on £7k a week. Ex SPL available on a free. He fits the bill.
Kyle
The Courier and Daily Star have us favourites to re-sign him, with Aberdeen noted as being interested.

Sounds like they want him off the wage bill but don't really want to pay up his contract.

GFARAB82
Liam Craig is set for a return to St Johnstone, while fellow midfielder Paul Cairney, one of 11 players released by relegated Hibs, is wanted by Dundee United. (Daily Express)
