E cigarettes

Recommended Posts

Cheers.

Being a total amateur to the world of vaping, I was only going off my mate's recommendation.

What constitutes a good kit and a bad kit? What e liquids/s do you use?

By experience, the eGo-C kit is a good product and it comes with 5 replaceable atomizers which makes it more cost effective than the Tornado Tank Kit which is also very good. Presently i am using a Clearomizer which is probably the best value for money and is very cheap for replacement wicks but they do last pretty long.

There are many sites which you could use to buy your kits and acceseries http://www.totallywicked-eliquid.co.uk/ is very reliable and delivery is quick, there is also a lot of videos for beginners.

For liquid i just shop around and the cheapest i have found is http://www.misteliquid.co.uk/e-liquid/100ml-e-liquid . 100ml for around £15 is really good value and should last you for 1-2 months. I usually stick to Gold & Silver, Tobacco Original or Virginia but there are loads of other flavours available, i would recommend the 36mg strength to begin with..

I smoked an e fag all the way through our semi final against Celtic and the final against Hearts.

I piled straight into the full strength Camel immediately afterwards right enough, because no mattter how "not bad" e fags actually are, they are not quite the same. Its a bit like non alcoholic beer and various other diet type rubbish. Just control yourself and enjoy everything in moderation.

I have a Gamucci one which is rechargeable, its supposed to be completely shite according to reviews, but its the only one I've tried (apart from disposables) so I dont know any better. I found it fairly useful at times, and its worth a bash.

No way I'm stopping smoking to go full time on those things though, I like smoking.

^^ Said from within an iron lung

I couldn't agree more, tho. My mum was a heavy smoker for years, she had to take medication to help her quit. She says it was the best choice she ever made.

Picked up a Skycig kit today. Went for this brand purely cos I got the starter kit, which includes charger, battery, 3 cartridges and an extra pack of 5 cartridges for £18.

Journey starts tomorrow, be strange not going to pick up fags before work. But I'm focussed on the holiday I can go on in a few months if I can stick it.

I have had a disposable one of those, they are ok. They are probably the easiest ones to get a hold of in the local corner shop and stuff like that too.

If there is one thing that makes you look more of a total throbber than standing outside a pub trying to slowly kill yourself with cigarettes it's sitting inside a pub smoking an e-cig with a glowing red/luminous blue light on the end. Everyone is looking at you thinking "what a fanny".

Drunks are much bigger throbbers than smokers.

Not all drunks are throbbers though...all smokers are.

Vegetarians and lefties are the biggest throbbers of the lot. They make smokers look almost as socially acceptable as a raging alcoholic.

I think that knob ends that think smoking an e-cig is harmless are the biggest throbbers of all, more so than veggies or lefties or drunks.

Why's that Romeo? Have you got some detailed scientific (peer reviewed of course!!!)analysis to regale us with?

Of course scientific stuff that's not been peer reviewed is less accurate than a website or some guy on a stall telling you it's harmless.

Of course people should just carry on regardless, then try and sue the e cig companies when it all goes tits up.

So the 2nd and 4th link basically mimic the 1st link, which is based on a 10 minute Greek experiment, and the other is from the Daily Mail?

Very good! By the way romeo, my e cig doesn't glow any colour. It's simply a battery, clearomizer and mouthpiece and the liquid contains no carcinogens or toxins found in tobacco smoke. It's a no lose situation, even if you do look like a "throbber".

Who knows if they are harmless or not,i have not read anything yet that proves they are harmful just some scaremongering but one thing we do know is they are far safer than tobacco products.

E-cigs are in the process of being banned in France, which is quite funny considering the way the French were outraged at the cigarette ban. Soon, you'll be forced to stand outside with your e-cig as you would a normal one.
