GordieBoy80
I was told by a bigot that if they burst their drum going past the chapel they get some sort of cash prize. No idea if it's true or not.

GordieBoy80
Don't get jealous pal. I'm not jealous, I'm delighted you can still pull men at your age. Well played.
The_Kincardine
I was told by a bigot that if they burst their drum going past the chapel they get some sort of cash prize. No idea if it's true or not. GordieBoy80
And you're fool-enough to believe it. You might want to read the post you quoted again, particularly the last sentence.

Despite his qualms he was stupid enough to turn it in to a post in here.
Dunlop Don
I have no objection to these people hiring the big hall at SECC and filling their boots for a day or even weekend. The problem is that wont ever be done because it won't achieve the desired gerritrightfuckingupye which is the entire purpose of the marches. It makes me utterly furious that almost 20 years after Mark Scott (my personal brush with Glasgow's shame) this pish is still happening. I would bet over 90% of voters would agree that it should have been banned or at least cut down years ago so why won't any politician grab this shitty stick and deal with it?

What a thoroughly confused post. No doubt Mark Scott's murder was dreadful. Indeed shameful. However it has nothing to do with the point of this thread.

Apache Don
Are they not making a special effort this year and next in opposition to the referendum? They'll be bussing 'em in from NI. Free buses for the hibs casuals
The_Kincardine
Aye it does. OK so talk me through how the sick murder of Mark Scott is related to the number of Orange marches in Glasgow this weekend.

~British Patriot~
Why do they always play louder going past a chapel? Has no-one told them it's normally empty on a Saturday morning at 9am? It's always been the case, it's just tradition. Edited July 5, 2013 by ~British Patriot~
The_Kincardine
Should bigotry be openly displayed in the form of parades and gatherings... ?. Nope. I despise bigotry. Celebrating political freedom does not make one a bigot.
The_Kincardine
Political freedom from what exactly ? I said it earlier. The revolution of 1688 placed parliament above monarchy. This is worth celebrating. -
