NotThePars
I've no idea where I read it (someone on Twitter) said Shia Lebeouf should be Han Solo. I can't even imagine that.
forehead7
I read that they're going with Yoda's story for the first character film.
GiGi
I've no idea where I read it (someone on Twitter) said Shia Lebeouf should be Han Solo. I can't even imagine that. Probably to do with the god-awful passing of the torch of Indiana Jones in Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. Thankfully there are no new plans for that yet.

DA Baracus
I hope that they manage to fit in a side story whereby the Gungans are wiped out in a genocidal rage (by anyone really) and Naboo is then blown up by a 3rd Death Star or a Sun Crusher or Palpatine's Eye or some other superweapon.

DomDom
What about Ryan Gosling for the young Han Solo? He has the right amount of cool about him to pull it off I reckon.
Al B
For Han Solo, I reckon they would have Bradley Cooper involved somewhere.
54_and_counting
For Han Solo, I reckon they would have Bradley Cooper involved somewhere. not a bad shout, i always imagined a younger han solo to be like face from the A team
T_S_A_R
not a bad shout, i always imagined a younger han solo to be like face from the A team dirk benedict was older when the a team started than harrison ford was in 1977. what will make or break these movies is their tone. if they go for a shiny feel with loads of effects and 3d they'll be pish. the appeal of the original trilogy is that the star wars universe was a bit shit and manky. han solo moved in sleazy circles so they need to make whatever he, lando and chewy are up to extremely scuzzy. i don't think a boba fett movie will work at all.
DA Baracus
A Boba Fett movie would be utter shit and appeal only to hardcore fanboys.

Nah I think the Boba Fett movies could be decent if they keep them as fun action movies and dont try and over complicate them by giving him a love interest and deep character background etc
DA Baracus
Nah I think the Boba Fett movies could be decent if they keep them as fun action movies and dont try and over complicate them by giving him a love interest and deep character background etc There's actually a decent enough back story if they go into the history of the Mandolorians. But they won't. If they made it it will invariably include the things you mentioned. In the expanded universe (the books), Han Solo's daughter ends up being trained by Boba Fett so that she can kill her surviving brother (her other one, Anakin, was killed by an invading alien force on a mission) because he's turned to the dark side and has done some pretty awful things (like killing Luke's wife, trying to turn Luke's son to the dark side, and lots of general slaughter). I can't recall how he (Boba Fett) escaped the Sarlaac though. Edited February 11, 2013 by DA Baracus
Quentin Taranbino
Boba Fett also has a bad ass lightsaber duel with Darth Vader I believe, set in between A New Hope and Empire and that's how Vader comes to respect and hire Fett.

Quentin Taranbino
And if you couldn't be bothered searching for it But the Sarlacc could never hold Fett. Thanks to his iron will andMandalorian armor, Fett was able to fight his way out of the beast'sbelly, killing the Sarlacc. After escaping, Fett was found by a group ofJawas who took him to be either a droid or cyborg, never bothering to scan him, and claimed him as their own under theimpression he was an unintelligent being. They took him into their sandcrawler, fitted him with a restraining bolt, and went on their way. Post Battle of EndorFett waking up after escaping from the Sarlacc.Fett was later joined by a familiar face when the Jawas stole R2-D2from a hangar bay in Mos Eisley. R2-D2 immediately recognized Fett, butthe meeting was interrupted as Han Solo and Leia Organa attacked thesandcrawler in an attempt to get R2 back. It was at this point that Fettawoke for the first time since being freed from the Sarlacc, just intime to see Solo enter the sandcrawler in his attempt to rescue R2.Unfortunately, the sandcrawler had been damaged during Han's attempts toenter it and so was on a collision course with the Sarlacc. The Jawaswere too busy to fix it, as they had just been attacked by Tusken Raiders.Solo was as surprised as R2 had been to find Fett alive once more, butsomehow, Fett had temporarily lost his memory and in fact helped Solorescue R2 from the doomed sandcrawler. Though against his betterjudgment, Solo then tried to help Fett escape also, as he couldn't leavea helpless man to die. Unfortunately for Fett, it was at this point that his memory cameback due to Leia shouting Han's name repeatedly. Fett fired on theunarmed Solo before he managed to free him from the sandcrawler, causingSolo to jump onto the sand. The sandcrawler, with Fett still in it,crashed into the mouth of the Sarlacc, trapping Fett once more. Soloonce more thought that Fett was dead. Boba Fett escaping the Sarlacc's graspAfter conversing with a fellow captive, the Choi known as Susejo,Fett discovered that this being was actually psychologically connectedto the Sarlacc—and it was this advantage that he used to goad thecreature into contracting around his jet pack, igniting the device andproviding his means of escape, killing the Sarlacc in the process. Theresulting explosion, combined with the beast's acidic stomach juices, left Fett on the verge of death. As he lay dying on the surface ofTatooine, his colleague Dengar was searching for anything valuable left from the explosion, but found Boba Fett instead, and nursed him back to health.
lovetheRaith
This is like a Star Wars history lesson, I knew there were other books written but never knew where and if they were available
DA Baracus
Amazon. You'll get most for cheap as f**k.
T_S_A_R
the expanded universe (or low cost content generated to milk fanboys) is not going to be a factor in these movies. disney is not going to rely on the ideas of a bunch of hack sci-fi writers for it's 1 billion dollar investment.
