AsimButtHitsASix Posted September 1, 2015 Share Posted September 1, 2015 Ah here's a couple Stretch Arm Strong (over-rated "punk-core" band) somehow manage to whip out this startingly amazing cover of N.W.A.'s "Express Yourself" Famous Riot Grrrl Nina Gordon and her folksy cover of N.W.A's "Straight Outta Compton" Danish psychobilly nutters Nekromantix absolutely ace Dead Bodies by Rancid Is it a cover? Or a sample? Or a "re-imagining"? I dunno but Disposable Heroes of Hiphoprasy's version of California Uber Alles is a thing of beauty There's a lot of good stuff (and a lot of GWAR) on AV Club's youtube channel featuring loads of weird/brilliant/terrible covers.
