Best nicknames you've heard

Recommended Posts

I mind Off The Ball did nicknames as their topic of the day and someone texted in saying their lazy workmate was called Vesuvius because he was 'dormant and surrounded by ash'.

The best one I heard on that was a guy called 'the Olympic flame' because he never went out.

Two more have sprung to mind, from my army days.

"The Tickler" on account of his second name being French and "Hemet" as the lad declared, upon his arrival to the squadron, he would like to be known as Gerry.

I know a guy who gets called "nausage" although technically it should be spelt "Nosaj" as his real name is Jason and it basically came about due to the thing you do at school when you say your name backwards.

We used to do this at primary school . Lass in my class was called Donna Duff , an odd fudd stays with her to this day !

When we were around 16 i eventually got a look and general rummage around said fudd .It was just the same as other normal ones , i was disapointed !
