afca32
So did Gauld do well when he came on? Yes, looked very capable at that level. Very promising.
Miguel Simao
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PjojBhOp4AA More touches there than he had in about 3 games against Saints last season

Nightmare
Nah, it was (I think) Montero that set up Tanaka's goal. Definitely not Gauld anyway. Good performance, though. Looked like he belonged in that team.
banana
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PjojBhOp4AA More touches there than he had in about 3 games against Saints last season He hasn't half come on. Looks really sprightly, confident with his first touch and bulked up quite a bit. Not bad for half a season in the reserves!
HuttonDressedAsLahm
Fantastic nutmeg in the build up to the 3rd goal. Looked assured and fast. When have we had a player like that before? Starting to feel quite positive about a few youngsters coming through. Just need Harper to make the Madrid B team now.
Kris.
Watched about 10 minutes or so of the game after he came on (just missed the 3rd goal) and he showed some lovely touches and from what I can remember didn't waste a single pass either. Crowd seemed to really like him as well. Based on that little cameo you'd expect him to be getting considered for the first team a bit more between now and the end of the season.
banana
Crackin extended HQ 'Gauld-watch' video from the Boavista game he started: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Z5Bhkhgd1Q Easy to forget how much tenacity he's always had in his game, more effective now he seems stronger with more burst.
ExiledSaint
Gauld did very well. Here's hoping more foreign clubs come and steal away our best young talent in this country instead of them joining Sellick or moving down south and failing to live up to their potential. Cough, cough GARY MACKAY STEVEN cough, cough!!

leomessi1984
Gauld looked composed and had a few nice touches. The meg was a peach. If he gets decent game time he'll be in the Scotland picture fairly quickly I would think.
Virtual Insanity
Looks like he's making quite an impression in Portugal! Quick Learner is the subheading I think, not sure what it says above Gauld, but looks promising anyway. http://www.101greatgoals.com/blog/transfers/man-united-are-trying-to-sign-portos-bruno-martins-indi-this-january-record/ Can't seem to put the picture here directly unfortunately.
PrestersKTID
From the highlights he looks very sharp, neat with the ball and distributes it well. Can see him being included in the squad for northern ireland/gibraltar for sure.
Gordopolis
From the highlights he looks very sharp, neat with the ball and distributes it well. Can see him being included in the squad for northern ireland/gibraltar for sure. Agree with this. He's in a class of his own really, being the only teenage Scot playing abroad for a famous team that paid multi millions for him. And at 19, it's hardly as if he's a 'kid' or a massive risk or anything. Hopefully with him and Andrew Robertson in and around the squad a few more youngsters might follow.

bullywee
That's a great article: Spiritually I still have contact with Van Gaal. I think about him and I think he also thinks about me.

It's all looking very positive for him, hopefully he can now establish himself and start getting some first team experience under his belt.
