To clarify, is Henry McLeish now a yes voter or is he a no voter that is critical of the official campaign?

I think the latter. He's the anti-Ad Lib.

"But if they don't do this the North of England is going to be at a serious disadvantage to the rest of Scotland."

Dafuq?

The UK love their captialism, which is why in a competitive market like this, the message doesn't sound hypocritical at all.

 Did they ever notice that the UK happens to have a large vacuum down on the South East coast going by the name of London? We're all disadvantaged compared to there anyway!

Abolishing air passenger duty could bring millions into the Scottish economy practically overnight.

Now why would we want to do that?

If this is true, does this mean that Newcastle airport has been exploiting the people of Scotland and those who wish to visit Scotland?

Isn't she the women who turns out to be a Labour Party member and part of the shadow Scottish cabinet?

I think the point is why a civil servant is emailing newspapers with misinformation about someone involved in a politcal campaign.

It came from this I believe

http://www.jackiebaillie.co.uk/baillie-welcomes-clydebank-mum-of-the-year-to-labours-shadow-cab

Plus all the pictures of her at Labour events and working for "United with Labour"

Wings and Campbell Gunn both said (or in Wings' case alleged) she was the daughter of a former Labour Provost, which isn't true.

" Campbell Gunn, a senior special adviser and political spokesman for the Scottish Government, emailed this newspaper that she was a member of Labour’s Shadow Cabinet and the daughter-in-law of Pat Lally, a former Labour Lord Provost of Glasgow."

Why is a Scottish Government civil servant emailing newspapers about the referendum campaign?

Yeah, Wings reached the same (incorrect) conclusion as the civil servant at roughly the same time.

Curious stuff.

You'll forgive me if I don't pay any attention to your by-now vanished credibility.

Haven't een this anywhere here, can see this getting a bit heated

Bit humiliating for Salmond this.

At least he's told him to say sorry, although he should be sacked too IMO.

It really shows up the under current of personal abuse the yes campaign seems to be running on. It's all they've got left.

^^^ monkey in a red rosette.

If you'd read the Wings article, it initially stated she was the daughter in law of Pat Lally, but then retracted that, adding that she is a member of Labour's National Policy Forum for 2015.

To try and pass her off as just a mum is misleading and incorrect.

Swing and a miss for you again, Bants.

Do you really expect anyone to take those last two sentences seriously, Lex? Come on now.

You can stick your head in the sand if you like.

Have a look at what's being said about her and JK Rowling on social media just now. It's pretty disgraceful and desperate stuff.
