Salvo Montalbano
Full House today, only had to guess one for a change (the year) and even then my old Higher History came in handy so it was an educated guess.

Arthur Orton
On 29/11/2021 at 14:00, Tynie Wickfield said: Its Round one results time from the Jack's Granda Vase. Everyone took part which is fantastico. Here's the scores on the doors Taking an early lead with a stonking 44 points is team De Niro @Arch Stanton @peasy23 @Ross. @Arabdownunder @mathematics @The_Kincardine @101 @Snobot Well done boys. A consistent team effort. In second place with 40 points we have team Hanks @WhiteRoseKillie @Duszek @scottsdad @The Captain @Kima Greggs @NJ2 @LincolnHearts @Blootoon87 Good scores from WRK, Duszrk and NJ2 In 3rd place with 39 points is Team Eastwood @Moomintroll @Ronaldo Jeremy @Geaky @Culter Away @SlipperyP @gkneil @ArmadaleKillie @Meldrew @kingjoey Moomin got an eight Fourth place with 37 points is team Arnie @Helpma @Small Bovine Maisonette @Eednud @Sylvester Sneekly @alang1993 @Spring Onion @BigBo10 @JamesP_81 A mixed bag from this group - must try harder And finally bringing up the rear (matron) is Team Pacino with 36 points @Rugster @Salvo Montalbano @The Hologram @Leeds Saint @JustOneCornetto @pleslie99 @The DA @German Jag Top scorer Ruggy with 8 Therefore in the individual aggregate score we have WRK with 9 Ross Snobot Duszek NJ2 Moomin all with eights. Gripping stuff Now onto the individual knockout rounds First the Lager Shield Arch Stanton took time off from protesting about St Mirren's place on Sportscene to score a 7 and defeat Petershill Stalwart and fans of all sports Peasy 23 who got 5. Next up was a battle of the ex pats. Ross from Switzerland and a Bankies fan, a Bankie in a country full of bankers got a whopping 8 to defeat Arab Down Under who posted a 7. Fair dinkum mate, unlucky you flamin galah. The Hologram A lithgy Rose fan and a part time lollypop man tripped over his stick with a 4. Well done to Leeds Saint, - hope you aren't trapped in that snowy pub up the dales who got a 7 to advance. Another Yorkshire exile WRK put down his keys and cuff to score an impressive 9 to defeat Duszek another ex pat and Thistle fan who is currently learning Swedish who got an 8. Unlucky. Rugster the Fawkirk fan exiled in Dingwall found his shooting boots, unlike the Barins and scored an 8. Unfortuntely Inspector Montalbano clearly spend all weekend on the Chianti to notch a 5. The Bairns beat the Pars Next up was a battle of Fawkirk District. Scottsdad who got a dodgy McDonalds in Grangemouth scored 3, to lose out to The Captain who despite doing a weekend looking after criminals in the jail managed a 5 to advance. Moomintroll who also lives down south got an 8 to defeat Ronaldo Jeremy who was busy "acting" all weekend and scored 5. Geaky an Ayr United fan managed 5 to defeat Culter Away - another Linlithgow Rose fan and Eberdeen got 2. At Least the rose are winning. Next up it's Rex Lynn lookalike a star of CSI Miami the Ex pat Helpma (f**k does anyone actually live in Scotland) who got 6 and has tried with Motor sport and Astrology fanatic James P-81 who was on my team at a quiz in Stirling a few weeks ago. You're both through m9's And finally its Adelaids's favourite son Edmund with a 6 to defeat Alang who surprisingly only got a 3. I've quizzed with Alan and he's very good so I reckon he was wither steaming or it's the shock of his parents chucking him out into the big bad world to fend for himself. That concludes the trophy. Now onto the Wine Vase Mathematics our mask enthusiast and Killie fan gets a 4 to lose out to a resurgent Kincardine whis is seventh heaven with well er a 7. 101 still celebrating the sacking of Peter Grant and who wore a magnificent yellow jumper at the quiz a couple of weeks ago got a whopping 7 but alas it wasn't enough as his team mate Snobot who is a rugby fanatic converts his tries to score an 8 . Morton fan Cornetto very solid with a 7 is enough to see off the part time referee and Dumbarton fan P Leslie who got 4. Next up The DA a big fan of Dundee Utd finds himself beached as German Jag who supports Hanover ( I think) gets a 5 to put himself through. A low scoring tie sees Hibernian fan and frequent name changer Kima Greggs get 4 but remarkably its enough to defeat Peterhead fan Blooton who misses an open goal to get a 3. Nothing worse than someone from a fishing toon failing to net. I will get my trawler sorry coat. Now its the battle of the Jambos, NJ2 performs like John Robertson to get an 8. Lincoln Hearts performs like John Colquhoun but narrowly fails to win a medal at Tynecastle and gets a 6. A good effort but just not enough. Next its mods time. Clyde & Vanilla fan Small Bovine Hoose scores a 4 but the artist formally known as the cardinal, now Sylvester Sneakly gets a 6 to make it through. Qos fan Spring Onion (a very underrated crisp in my opinion (IMO) ) gets a 6 but just like is team Auchinleck, Bigbo10 rises to the occasion with a 7 to go through with the odd goal. Next up its the quizmaster par excellance Slippery P who scores a 6 to defeat Aberdeen's finest gkneill who got a 4, And finally Armadale Killie a long way from home in West Lothian gets a 3, but Meldrew a fan of The Barclays scores 5 but David Bowies biggest fan King Joey gets a 6 to advance - no sorrow for him. Bloody hell that was tiring Right I was going to wait but lets just get on with Round Two - Now remember everyone is still in the competiton as part of the team section even if knocked out of the head to head. If everyone can get there scores in by 8pm Wednesday please Lager Shield 2nd round draw is Arch Stantion v Ross Leeds Saint v WRk Captain v Moomintroll V Rugster Geaky v Edmund Helpma v James P Wine Vase second round is Kincardine v Snobot Cornetto v German Jag Kimi Greggs v NJ2 Sylvester Sneakly v Big bo 10 Slippery p v King joey https://www.quizyourfriends.com/take-quiz.php?id=2111290830389040&stp& Final call for @peasy23 @Leeds Saint @Ronaldo Jeremy @Duszek
