The DA
6 hours ago, velo army said: It's a proper PTTGOMN but the sonata in question wasn't called the Moonlight Sonata by the composer, but by a critic after said composer had snuffed it. The opening movement is redolent of moonlight, but movements two and three most certainly aren't. He wrote it after getting dumped by a funcy woman (a contessa whose name escapes me) and the anguish and anger the composer feels about this is clear to hear in the third movement (the presto agitato). He was a bit volatile and codependent when it came to the ladies was our man. Sonata in C sharp minor for me Clive. You learn fascinating things every day. Cheers, velo.

Claudia Gentile
A pleasing 8/10. Dem Bones (even my 50/50 were both wrong) and family name wrong (never heard of what it refers to). I am definitely getting my Partick Thistle season ticket revoked @velo army Edited April 24 by Claudia Gentile
