Ira Gaines
Pretty glad that Ted Lasso is every bit as good as people have been saying. Just totally irresistible.

Ira Gaines
Felt that we were missing a real daft as f**k comedy police procedural with A Touch of Cloth seemingly nowhere to be seen, so I was absolutely fucking delighted be Code 404 which is just totally ludicrous.

Ira Gaines
Quite a bit into The Stand now. So far, so good. Not sure the jumps work some of the time, but the shorter time jumps definitely serve things well. The two sides are well established now. One side of things is VERY different from the book, but since they're moving towards a totally different ending, it makes sense that they'll be going in different directions in at least one big aspect and they've done that in a big way as far as setting goes. Owen Teague has been absolutely brilliant as the slimey and duplicitous Harold btw.

Natalie Martinez (Dayna Jeurgens) in her skimpies last week was a very welcome addition to the series Edit- I think the guy doing Tom Cullen is very good too. Ira Gaines
Agreed. Ezra Miller turning up as the Trash Can Man too is pretty spectacular. Pretty funny to think Marilyn Manson was going to have that role initially.

Mark Connolly
Comedy Central showing the A-Team from the start, absolutely tremendous. No wonder they binned the pilot episode version of Face though

welshbairn
Binge watching The Investigation about the Danish submarine murder on BBC Four. Enjoying it, but can't help wondering if the classy drama feel about it might be lost if I was fluent in Danish and it turned out to be a cringe making Channel 5 style soap opera with shite acting. Probably not. Edited January 23, 2021 by welshbairn

Was a good watch but definitively felt it missed something with a lot of sub plots leading to nowhere. I saw that. From an idea by Val McDermit but actually written by Amelia Bullmore, who was Steph Barnes in Coronation Street and Sonja the East European girlfriend in I'm Alan Partridge.

tongue_tied_danny
The Big Match Revisited on ITV4. Repeats of English football highlights shows from the 70s. This is real jumpers for goalposts stuff. Pitches like rice paddies, overweight players with combovers and porno taches covered in mud from said pitches. Goalkeepers being bombarded with toilet rolls and green parka clad teenagers invading the pitch after every goal. Televised football is defiantly more aesthetically pleasing these days...

Used to watch this when I was on the nightshift. It was on about 5 in the morning. When is it on now? I'll set the video.
