Galloway's getting a bit desperate today, he's doing the NAZI sympathiser stuff today and SNP are anti-catholic etc. etc.

Of course he's desperate, he's a career politician, if Scotland votes yes him and any other Scottish MP holding English seats will be fucked in the next elections

Why? We have a French and English MSPs. I can't imagine the good people of Kensington voting against Rifkind, for example.

Exploiting sectarian division is pretty much his specialist subject so we shouldn't be surprised.

The thing is that he's not actually very good at it - you need only look at the fleg morons in Norn Ireland to see how it's actually done. Galloway doesn't have that purchase despite his monstrous conceit.

This is an absolute hoot.

* Scots are oppressors of Northern Ireland historically and to this day

Don't think that the United Kingdom of Scotland and Northern Ireland is on Alex S's agenda so not sure where he is going with that. There seems to be a generational thing on that amongst those of a dark green hue politically in or from Scotland. The younger ones seem to see independence as a way to torpedo both the Union of 1707 and 1801, while the older ones seem to see Holyrood as Stormont Mk. II and something to be avoided at all costs. Both postures are wide of the mark from what I can see. If Gibraltar can stay British into the 21st century and even get its own national football team odds on NI can stay part of the rUK if the exceedingly unlikely happens in September, and you don't need to be a rocket scientist to discern the difference in social standing of the Orange Order in present day Scotland and pre-1972 NI.

Used to love the guy but has now shown himself up for what he really is just another self seeking politician, fighting the cause for all and sundry because it promotes him to the bigger stage.Scotland not big enough for most of these politicians of the no persuasion, they would rather be in bed literally/figuratively with the corrupt/paedophiliac/perverted Establishment.

Went and saw his "Just Say Naw" tour a couple of months ago in Killie out of sheer morbid curiosity. Bizarre showing from the man. He blatantly lied about the audience numbers, inexplicably labelled the meeting "epic" and spent half his time launching savage (not to mention personal) attacks on Alex Salmond.

The icing on the cake was an 8 second spell where he ridiculed some SNP politician's "involvement" with a homophobic institute (exact details escape me) before changing the subject and making a joke about Alex Salmond's own sexuality.

The worst part was definitely the audience though, it was like the pigs at the end of Animal Farm, all sneering and baying for more slights against the First Minister. I think they were typical of the sort of people who find Galloway to be some sort of hero.

Hmmmmm.....

I agree with you but it's not so many years ago since AS, himself, happily succumbed to the lure of that bigger stage in London town arguing that he could fight Scotland's corner more effectively from within the Westminster establishment.

Didn't Galloway and Salmond used to be pals? I might have dreamt this, but used to listen to his show on talkSHITE years back and even though he's always been against Scottish independence, I thought he reguarly bigged up Salmond as a good guy/laugh?

Good to see George isn't obsessed

I tweeted him looking for evidence and he replied to me.

" what more do you want than the police statement?"

I then asked where was the police statement but have received no reply.

There was a Facebook post from a celtic fan but no actual evidence as far as I can see. Guy is a complete roaster
