Sooky
Do we get a breakdown of every countries public vote? It's always released online shortly after, along with each individual jury members vote.

AMMjag
Even worse than that Azerbaijan pair that won it a few years ago. The way the votes are presented offers proper scenes potential though. Australia, pleasingly, will have thought they had it in the bag.
Antiochas III
The big 5 countries will do a runner at this rate - paying all that money yet don't get anywhere near voting because of political and bloc voting. No they won't.

Years ago. France were doing quite well this year. The impact of political voting is overstated.

Bully Wee Villa
Not true, Germany won it 5? Years ago. France were doing quite well this year. The impact of political voting is overstated. Not this year. There have been occasions where an okay song has done better than it should have due to political voting. There have been occasions when a song has been able to win in spite of the political voting. This is the first time a song which shouldn't have even been in the final has actually won.
Sooky
It'll be interesting when at some point, someone works out what would have happened under the old system.

It's possibly due to the new voting system. Poland will always get loads of points in the public vote across Europe from now on due to migration. Last year Poland got 7 points in total from the UK. From now on, they're guaranteed at least 12 from the public vote alone.

QPStu
I'm glad Australia missed out. Forgive me for being old fashioned but, given it is called Eurovision, I'd much rather the winner was actually from Europe.
