Father Barrys Sign (Top Half)
Wasn't there tonight, how was it? Any stand outs? Fairly high tempo for a pre season friendly. Goodwin only played a half, but was excellent. Strolled it, sprayed some decent passes from the back and good communication with Hoggan when he came on. Good strikers goal by Longworth. Oh FFS, forgot all about it Not that I use it much, but what's our best Twitter feed these days? Looks like the ones I used to check have all been abandoned or exiled to a Siberian gulag @JohnGlencross12 @dgxwasp @sportsboxG @Alloa1878SC @AlloaStats @DonaldPollock3 A mix of official club updates, photos, rumours, supporters club, stats and stories amongst that. Waspie
Happy with this. Not going to get much better to play ultimately back-up & challenge Parry. Feel much safer with him than young Wilson. Agreed. Hopefully Wilson continues to develop and can take on this role in the future. He will get plenty of football with the youth team. In the meantime McDowall provides good, experienced cover for Parry. A guy who has played in some of the most famous results in the history of the club - welcome back Craig! Waspy
Anyone at the game tonight ? 1-1 Played well with big Jim getting the Alloa goal to cancel out Duffy's opener. The ginger headed lad looks alright.

Wasps1
In a normal game he would have had a straight red in the first half Then he took the Ref out the game great moment in the game Classic !!!
Father Barrys Sign (Top Half)
2 friendlies and Goodwin already cementing his status as a legend. We've been crying out for a guy like this for years. His communication to others also noted. Enjoyed him getting straight on Isaac Laynes case when he thought he was coasting. A winner who mixes it up. If he keeps this up the fans will love him.

All joking aside, Jim is a brilliant asset for us to have. Controls the game & leaves everything on the pitch ... even in friendlies! Didn't see what happened with him & Isaac, was Isaac slacking and he told him to up it?
KierenAAFC
Also, on a side note. Darren O'Dea could take some tips off of Jim Goodwin. Dirty, cheat & bitter all in one. Was totally shocked with him - poor show from a professional.

Deefiant
I've always admired Goodwin but he does have the capacity to lose the plot and get sent off for something stupid. Should be a good player at your current level.

printer
I've always admired Goodwin but he does have the capacity to lose the plot and get sent off for something stupid. Is that correct or is it just how he is perceived? How many red cards has he received?
