lubo_blaha
Maloney would be decent for a season imo. Might have lost a yard of pace but he's the kind of guy who could unlock a defence.
Murgie McDubh
I can see Maloney, if he comes covering the strikers position as well as playing out wide. That's some snout Rodgers has got on him. He wouldn't be too popular at an Adam Rooney party that's for sure.
Booker-T
I can see Aberdeen switching away from 4231 if maloney signs.... would imagine Maloney & Christie would play with Rooney in a front 3 with McLean coming back to play as a midfielder who supports the attack rather than playing between midfield and attack. McGinn and Hayes are a big loss, but you still have a good team - i would say that you still need a holding midfielder and an alternative to Rooney in the big games.
GTG_03
Maloney signing would be a great addition, he's 34 but I imagine he'll still he fit. Great competition for places. If we had an attacking 4 of mclean, maloney, Christie and may (I know I know) that's an improvement on mclean, Hayes, mcginn and Rooney imo
scottorae
Hmmmm, more like Maloney and May v Hayes and McGinn? Close I'd say.Think we definitely need another wide option in that case.

scottorae
Even with Scott Wright I'd say. Gives you the option of playing with real pace and width on both sides.I think the way Wright took his goals against Partick suggests he could have a real chance

jmothecat
I forgot about Scott Wright. Looked brilliant against Partick. Hopefully he can play like that regularly.

DrewDon
An impeccable source tells me that Alan Gow was spotted in Greggs on Union Street earlier. #steakbake

jmothecat
I forgot that the only thing that makes St Johnstone fans angrier than daring to suggest they play boring football is to say anything which could in any way be interpreted as a criticism of Stevie May.

And that they and their owner keep trying to get bigger teams to take their manager away. And then get upset when Tommy doesn't get offered any other job, ever.
