d31
On paper easier than some of the ties weve faced in previous seasons but wouldnt be counting our chickens too early. hopefully can get a few goals up on Thursday night. st patricks play the other Esch team on Tuesday evening so interesting to see how that goes as a benchmark also interesting to see how ventspils/vikingur goes as wouldnt be certain that ventspils will stroll it

Aberdeen21
Anyone at the Brechin game yesterday? Yes I travelled up to watch the game yesterday. Thought Brechin were solid and much improved on last year. Rooney started on the left with Stockley and Shankland up front. Shankland then switched with Rooney but you could see the game plan was to get shinnie, wright, logan bombing forward and to whip balls in to the three big physical strikers. Stockley looks like a right handful and very strong in the air. The new lad O'Connor came on in the second half and looked assured at the back and played some nice cross field passes but was never under any pressure. Joe Lewis looked solid with a couple of claimed crosses and starting play early with quick throw outs. Considering we were missing Hayes,Taylor,McGinn & Mclean it was a very solid performance. We have some great depth in the squad now with those 4 plus Storey to come in as well as the young lads who all looked of a good standard. Pawlett and cammy smith both looked sharp when coming on and I think wee cammy will do a great job for Dundee utd if that's where he ends up.
RussellAnderson
Just got my Fola Esch tickets, looking forward to it! Hoping it's more Daugava less Sigma haha, reckon we'll see any of the new boys? Stockley played himself into a starting berth? O'Connor in the middle of the park from the start?
d31
Reckon Lewis and Stockley will start with the other registered new signings on the bench. McGinn to start probably
Illgresi
My guess is: Lewis Logan Taylor Reynolds Shinnie O'Connor Jack McGinn McLean Pawlett Rooney

RussellAnderson
Flood to United after Thursday, according to the Sun. Hope we've got a replacement lined up. He'll be on a decent wage so hopefully can get an upgrade. Good signing for Utd.
RussellAnderson
Will we see a "proper big" new signing before the end of the summer Y/N? I'm talking a Shinnie, or a fee paid. I reckon we will. Another attacker/winger, mabye Gregory Stewart. Edited June 28, 2016 by RussellAnderson

Kneetrembler
I predict Jayden Stockley will be a revelation in the SPFL Premiership and will be a key player for us. Mind you, I thought Josh Parker was a good signing when he joined.
