Sounds like a decent club for him.
azazel
Richardson off to Stockport on loan "for game time" because we've signed Devlin and Dadia. A good move all round you'd have to say. Although when I first saw Hatters I thought "Luton? Wtf?". https://www.afc.co.uk/2023/07/26/richardson-joins-hatters-on-loan/
tarapoa
EFL League 2 market for players whose legs work faster than their brains. Shady-Mo next maybe? Edited July 26, 2023 by tarapoa
HarleyQuinn
That's a good move for Richardson. Morris and Stewart hopefully next.
d31
If Rubezic signs this week then the centre and right side of defence is looking well sorted. Left side of defence still needs two players. That would allow Stewart and Ngwenya to leave on permanent / loan. I'm assuming Mackenzie gets to stay ahead of those two?

Morris won’t be going anywhere unfortunately. Robson has been bigging him up a wee bit pre-season. Never mind exits. We desperately need a few incoming, especially defensively Edited July 26, 2023 by Thenorthernlight
Raidernation
Can someone check on @Bogbrush1903, it's been several days since they've been on here slaughtering Barron (who obviously stole his sweeties at some point) and also spewing their negativity.
lubo_blaha
The entire East Stand (3500) sold out for Livi. Tickets now on sale behind the goal.

Thanks for the welfare check; however, I can't remember ever "slaughtering" Barron (perhaps after a poor game maybe?) but I'm fairly non-plussed about the boy. I'll "spew my negativity" on my 12 hour Megabus journey home from London on Saturday/Sunday. Edited July 27, 2023 by Bogbrush1903
DunbartonshireRed
All quiet on the Western front regarding signings. Genuinely expected to see us signing (or at least being linked to) another couple of players this week. Not overly confident that we won't be lining up at the Spaghettihad with a back 3 of Milne-Devlin-MacKenzie. And that's going to give me nightmares.
HarleyQuinn
@lubo_blaha That's a fantastic effort from the fans. Burrows has tweeted the club has requested more tickets. Regarding the right back position. McCrorie and Richardson out. Dadia and Devlin in. I'd argue we've improved in that department. Hopefully we'll get some positive news next week regarding two new centre backs joining the club which would allow Stewart to move on. Apparently Robson plans to play Scales at Left back IF he signs on loan. Does that mean Rubezic and another unnamed centre back to join potentially? Time is marching on. Going to Livi with Milne, Devlin & MacKenzie gives me the fear. That’s (at best), 2 Championship level players in your back 3.
coprolite
Scott McKenna was a championship level defender before he got a run in the premier. I'd argue that McKenzie gets into a couple of teams in this division. Eg. Perth still play Considine. No idea what level Milne's at. It's sub optimal but i'd rather we took an extra week or two to get the right players. Is it working, this positivity?

Jack McKenzie can't play LCB in a back 4 can he? Hes just a very limited full back/LCB in a 3, who'll end up a solid Championship player with potential to be a bottom half player if he improves more than expected, IMO.

McKenzie has played over 50 games at first team level & has not progressed one iota And even if (massive if) you think he gets a game for a couple of teams in this division, that doesn’t mean he’s near good enough for us

Can’t see him pushing on and being the standard of player the club needs

HarleyQuinn
STV Sports journalist Harvey claiming the Rubezic deal will be finalized before the weekend and that he may even play in the friendly against Charlton this weekend. Still hopeful of a Left centre back, left wing back and two attacking midfielders.
DukDukGoose
MacKenzie isn't at the level to play regularly but there's always a spot for a guy like him. Considine wasn't good enough for the first 8 years of his career, fleeting moments aside. When he left, folk were up in arms.
