Don’t think that Pawlett was undervalued by Aberdeen. He was offered a new contract but turned it down and left. When he left us, he had gone back to his bad old days of being extremely inconsistent. Really, Pawlett only had one great season with us, when we won the League Cup, and in all other seasons he was more of a squad player.
