Take no notice of AV Glensmad, he's a disgruntled father of an ex Maybole player. Any chance he gets he will put the boot in![/

No many ex Maybole players at Whitletts!!

Enjoyed a cracking wee afternoon at Cumbernauld vs Kirky at the weekend there. Thought Cumbernauld were fortunate to take all 3 points, but Kirky were only marginally more effective despite having more possession.

Very civilised being able to enjoy the game with a drink in hand. Will definitely head in for the next home game if anyone knows when it is.

I don't understand the logic in some of his fixtures, come the 3rd of Jan Cumbernauld will have played Rob Roy and Glencairn twice yet have still to play Largs

We will have played Largs and Cumbernauld twice, but stil not played Yoker or Rob Roy at all. Although, to be fair, we were scheduled to play Yoker this weekend until they drew their cup tie last weekend, so it's fair to take that out of the equation.

Ardeer v Largs - Ardeer will be boosted after last week's derby win over Irvine Vics, and home advantage will give them a chance of building on that against a very unpredictable Largs side. I thought Largs were beginning to kick into gear until last week's cup result at Johnstone Burgh, so I've no idea what to expect from them at the moment.

Irvine Vics v Cumbernauld - Vics will be looking to get back to winning ways after last week's setback ended a good run of form. Cumbernauld have been unpredictable in their form, but two big wins for them in the last two weeks has seen them jump to third and this is a chance for them to potentially go second tomorrow night.

Kilsyth v Greenock - Two teams who have conceded a lot of goals so far this season, so this will probably be a 0-0 draw ! Kilsyth would jump above Greenock with a win, which would be a jump of four places in the table if results go their way elsewhere.

Rob Roy v Shettleston - Game of the day in this league, and a wee draw would be lovely as far as we're concerned. I wouldn't be surprised if that was indeed the outcome.

Neilston v Maybole - A good win for Neilston away from home last week and scoring a good few goals as well, so they'll be looking to take confidence from that into a home tie this week. Maybole will be looking to regroup after the new manager coming in (is that confirmed yet ?) and that could give them the boost they need to stop their recent slip in form.

Thorniewood v Pollok - Bottom v top, and most people will be expecting an away win as Pollok appear to be steamrollering their way back to the top league.
