ICTChris
Kris Boyd currently making a PowerPoint presentation consisting of two slides, one saying "Don't let them settle", the other "stick it in the mixer"

Egg Shen
Really pleased with this- not expecting too much from the Ibrox game as it may be a bit early but it's great to have some excitement back.
Dudu Dahan pal
Seeing a few hibs fans on Twitter saying they "hope he does well" f**k that for a laugh I hope the hearts c**t fails and hearts head back into turmoil. Shower of shite. -
capt_oats
Fair play to Hearts, on the face of it that looks like it could be a tremendous appointment. Given he's worked with Levein before and also they were looking at bringing him in as part of the staff when Neilson was still there it's probably safe to say they know what they're getting. Having read the pish from Boyd, Fullarton et al I'll happily admit I'm fully on the Cathro hype-train and hope it work out for him.

JamboMikey
Quite excited by this. He seems to be a pretty driven guy and I think he'll demand wins from the players. Hope he gets some money to bring in a couple of players in January.

What, were they passing through at the time? Maybe here on a weekend break perhaps. Our game is rank and getting worse. Still full of dinosaurs, useless fuds like Boyd. Our youth set up is more of the same old same old. Talent still overlooked far too often for dross who are fast, big or loud (or all three) with no genuine ability. The likes of Cathro may change this and will benefit from having someone like Austin at his side. Look at NI. Utterly hopeless under O'Neill until Austin appeared and they have never looked back, with a squad that makes Scotland look like Barcelona!
Alan Stubbs
This is a horrible situation, genuinely want the likes of Boyd and Grieves to be shown up for the fuds they are but that would involve good times at Tynecastle. Hopefully he's a generally successful and innovative coach up here but he loses a cup game to Hibs and the PHMs are too enraged to enjoy any success forthwith. -
jamamafegan
Good luck to Ian. Hope he does well. Who knows, maybe Hearts will replace Aberdeen as my big team if he gets them challenging Celtic. All the best wee man
Contra
I do think hearts will overtake Aberdeen as our biggest challengers, the main difference between the two clubs is that Hearts are showing ambition whereas Aberdeen - especially going by Milnes comments - are happy to try and claim second every season.

It all seems to stem from Ryan Gauld coming through, and him being able to rattle of "buzzwords". I'm a tragic individual so I've seen a chunk of his interviews, and he comes across similar to the 18 year new guy who's read every textbook, cover to cover, and expects everything to simply fall into place for him, as all he ever speaks in is cliches and the aforementioned "buzzwords" about how he'll create a "brand of exciting football, infused with youth development and a desire to win", when asked how he actually intends to go about it, he just passes over it and speaks about how it'll have to be the correct club for him. Maybe he'll prove me wrong, but I reckon he'd be a pretty poor appointment for you lot at the moment, tbh. ... His first interview.. Quote "We're going to want to use the ball, we're going to want to be incredibly energetic, we'll want to attack and score goals, everybody will be at maximum all the time" "What will the fans get? A team that wants to win" -
