Bishop Briggs
That's why I said the new Scotland, I think we'll be at a tournament under Strachan. Fair point. Strachan is doing a great job. England now out!

Shandon Par
Alan Shearer before the tournament; "There's no reason why England can't get to the semi-finals." Maybe he meant they'll be home in time for the Celebrity Masterchef semi-finals?
Ro Sham Bo
Alan Shearer before the tournament; "There's no reason why England can't get to the semi-finals." Say what you like about Robbie Savage but he was the only BBC 'pundit' who predicted before the tournament that England would fail to get through their group. Blootoon87
Japan and the Ivory Coast join the casualties. Only got themselves to blame.
Nightmare
Feel a bit bad for the Ivory Coast. Two very tough groups in their previous World Cups, and then going out to a 93rd minute penalty this time around. Of course, they were dreadful today, so really only themselves to blame, but a shame considering how good a squad they've had.
HibeeJibee
Glad Cameroon are out. Seem like a team filled with absolute arse holes. The 'bonus' argument pretty much confirmed that. Shouldn't have even been here. Tbh, the bonus dispute is becoming a well-honed trademark of the African teams? Almost every Africa Cup of Nations there is some side up until the early hours the night before their opening match, arguing with their officials about bonuses. This WC we've had Cameroon travelling late because of a bonuses dispute... Ghana's government flyingout $3M in cash after claims their players were going to strike... and yesterday Nigeria refused to train over bonuses. EDIT: No doubt Blatter and Issa Hayatou would regard this observation as "racist", however...
