It's becoming clear since that debacle of a penalty gift in the early games that you now have to be stabbed in the face to be awarded a penalty.

Yet you can dive all you like with impunity too. It's helped the flow of the games if nothing else.

You just know someone is going to trip over their own boot lace and get a penalty in the 2nd half.

Probably Robben  .

Note to FIFA. This will be every game in Qatar in eight years. Probably even worse.

Enclosed air-conditioned stadiums.

Fakkin hell, it's only 29'C, easily playable. The way they've been going on you'd think it's kickin 40.

Note to djchapsticks: FIFA don't give a f**k. All they care about is what's in the brown envelope.

The game has not been that bad. Can people stop fucking moaning please?

I've seen worse games in terms of technical ability from each side, but it's boring as f**k. Little of interest has happened.

Strange approach The Netherlands have taken. The reason for there being few international sides which play with a 3-5-2 formation is that it's so difficult to maintain organisation out of possession. All the more so when a team are camped in their own half for long spells like The Netherlands have been so far. Their central midfielders might as well be off the pitch. Their only achievement in the first half has been to obstruct and confuse the players behind them.
