Dee Man
Not good news for the location due to host Tuesday's Semi-Final. It turns out the flyover was constructed as part of the infrastructure improvements for the World Cup. http://m.bbc.co.uk/news/world-latin-america-28155216
AberdeenBud
I fucking love fitba, but even one c**t getting hurt because of cut corners at a World Cup is one too many. Absolute shambles, despite the degree of inevitability that something would go wrong. No doubt no one will be at fault.
Scary Bear
I'm just guessing here, but I'll say the folk in that car are dead. RIP
RandomGuy.
I'm just guessing here, but I'll say the folk in that car are dead. RIP I'll be rather grim here but they haven't been able to get the flyover off the car yet, so they've no idea if anyone was in it when the accident happened. The bus driver is one of the people killed, as the front of the bus seems to have been caught plum while the rest of the bus was fine
MONKMAN
Was in Belo Horizonte twice when in Brazil the other week. It could have been me........
craigkillie
It's obviously tempting to try to link this to the World Cup, but surely if it was unfinished then it wasn't being built for the tournament? It seems like it was part of a bigger plan to improve transport links in the city, perhaps using the extra income the city received by hosting the tournament?
