Big lichtie
with a record of 4 in 18 surely must be a midfielder
Lichtie78
Donnelly seems to be similar to McKenna in that he’s not really an out and out striker. As we have seen from his goals against us for QP and Stranraer he obviously is technically gifted. A weird one especially since we will have to pay for him. Spence seems like a no brainer if he’s available and willing to come. His record at the level is superb. If they both sign we will have a real abundance of attacking talent, but figuring out our best way of getting them all on the park won’t be easy or quick.
lichtiekev
Guessing Spence will be on loan but Donnelly to sign?? Will Hester be the only one to leave?? Could Doris do with a loan a move for a month to get sharper or could Kader or Denholm be moved on?? Can’t see how you can keep all these guys happy week in week out, especially when the likes of McCord, Whatley and Denholm can’t get a start recently,

1320Lichtie
with a record of 4 in 18 surely must be a midfielder Nobody except Wallace and Linn have scored more than 3 goals for us... Strikers have been way off it recently for me, Linn is our only reliable goal scorer, Wallace was at start of season but now he's in and out the team doesn't look likely at all. ETA: way off it in terms of scoring and taking a chance. Don't think anyone has been playing poorly
Lichtie78
Maybe Munro & McCord swap deal ?????Can’t see that happening. McCord in the paper yesterday on about how happy he is here and could still play a big part this season.
timlichtie
On the evidence of his last couple of appearances, McCord is back to his best and is a real asset. I'd be sad to see any of the current squad go, but there are guys who would get regular starts elsewhere .

1320Lichtie
Nothing against Munro think he's a solid enough centre half but swapping him for McCord would be insanity

stan3600
Barely enough defenders to scrape together a team and we sign two forwards. In Dick we trust. He usually gets this right.

McKenna the ultimate utility man. Plays up top, on the wing, in behind the striker and now anywhere across the back line
afc_36_0
I find 2 strikers a bit strange, i think we have good strikers who r just a bit off form, a proven goalscorer like spence would have been fine imo but in dick we trust
lichtiekev
Looking forward to us playing 4-1-5 with Swankie a loan midfielder pulling strings

Broken Algorithms
Spence is a fantastic signing, and I'm a bit gutted you've got him. He wasn't helped last season that the Smiths (both manager and bombscare keeper) insisted on shelling the ball forward to a player who is best when sitting of the last man. I'd be comfortable saying he's a far better player than Ryan Wallace and should get a healthy goal return for you.
SimonLichtie
I can only assume we're planning to playing McKenna or Donnelly in a midfield position going forward as opposed to up top, as we'd have Wallace, Doris, McKenna, Donnelly and Spence all fighting it out for 2 positions, and all 5 of them would consider themselves starters at this level. Either we're planning on playing McKenna/ Donnelly in a wide position, or one of Wallace/ Doris are leaving this month/ going to get virtually no gametime from here on in. Wallace is our top scoring striker so it would be utterly bizarre to replace him up top completely, and Doris needs game time and obviously won't get it from playing a cameo 10 minutes off the bench every week or two. It's very difficult, but McKenna simply doesn't score enough goals to play upfront week in week out long term but I much prefer him there than shunted onto the wing....
