Media is totally focussed on the top league and the usual Glasgow pish  ..Just for a minute , think how part time Arbroath can even be where they are .. For me ( and you ) that is a fantastic story ,, only question is .. Who would Arbroath like to replace in the Cinch premier league  , Dundee , Saints , Ross co etc

Wait and see what happens after we lose Nouble. Still have a great squad of guys but what happens in January will be big for us. At the end of the day if we could get into the promotion play offs it would be a fantastic achievement and I don’t think we’re that far off doing that already. Probably only need 5/6 more wins to guarantee that. I fancy us Wednesday to get one of them too.

Haven't seen the big man's name on the scoresheet for a while. Is he still as important for you guys? Sounds like Jack Hamilton could be on his way back to you when Nouble is recalled (which is sounding like later in the window)

Yes he’s a massive player for us even if he’s not scoring. If you kick the ball 5 yards either side of him he will get to it, take it down and drive up the park or hold it up. Defenders can’t get close he’s that strong and if they do he rinses them. Does so much that won’t show up in goals or assists stats. If we have him upfront genuinely strongly fancy us against whoever we play. Hamilton was pretty ruthless last season just worried with him not playing at all he won’t be as sharp. But imagine there’ll be more coming in to help with that

The difference between Nouble and anyone else we can possibly bring in within reason, is about 10% possession and the team sitting 10 yards deeper. A lot of what he does is difficult to quantify in statistics, because the way he drives the team up the pitch has been one of the most important parts of our game in the past few months. We've got a superb structure defensively who have been fantastic for us but a lot of the goals we've conceded in the past few years has been due to the heavy pressure they've been under. With Noubs taking us up the park so often it relieves so much from the back line, and without that constant pressure/ intensity we concede very few goals.

Losing Noubs won't just change things up top, it'll make a difference all over the pitch. However, we've proved over the past few years we can play this way, and it may be the second half of the season see's us play as much more of a counter attacking team than we have so far this season.

Watch the Dunfermline v Arbroath highlights. You will see his skills.

Am in England this week, can I stream the midweek game here?

I'm sure the blackout is only 3pm Saturday games.

It is. Though will obviously depend whether your system now automatically blocks England by default or can be switched on and off.

He will be a loss, no doubt, but we changed the way we played after the Low injury, so we will adapt again

Arbroath winning the league would be a massive middle finger aimed at all the arseholes in the media who reckon the Angus clubs should merge.

Keep it up lads.

That’s one of the reasons why I love A View From The Terrace - and why it’s so popular in general - you can watch an entire Scottish football programme that doesn’t spend 90% of the show discussing “them”.

You would think the powers that be who are responsible for other tv and radio shows would twig that there are more non OF fans in Scotland than they think and that they’re intentionally pissing off 50%+ of their potential audience.

I mind watching a BBC documentary about Scottish football a few years ago and Charlie Christie said it would be for the best for Angus clubs to merge. Since then Iv had a serious dislike for him and always get an extra kick out of beating Caley.

What a season you guys are having, absolutely outstanding. Nouble will be a big loss, especially if he ends up at another Championship side. My pal is a livi fan, says that Partick and another Championship side are after him.

Not quite sure why some people think he’ll be loaned out again by Livi. He’s going back and he’ll be straight into their first team. If not then they’re mental. I also think that if he was loaned out again then it would be back to us.
