Hello all,

You asked, so I'll deliver. Thanks to the suggestion (forgive me I can't remember who said it) Bobby Linn is up for an interview in the near future. As I like to do with all of these, I love getting you guys involved. Are there any questions you would like me to ask Bobby about his time at the club or his career in general? Likewise are there any topics you would like me to cover, so we can get the best possible interview? Arbroath history isn't one of my specialist subjects, so I appreciate all the help 😅

Happy to be back bearing better news than the last time, hopefully a good gaffer in at Gayfield next🤞

Ask Bobby what happened between him and Dick in the 22/23 season. Was their a fallout?

First half of the season he was our most dangerous player but he kept of getting subbed off for Deri Corfe. Then he was dropped from the first XI in favour of El-Mhani and made only 2 more starts the rest of the season.

Dicks ego probably just got in the road - couldn’t have the fans singing his name and then playing him

Reeked of Craig Levien telling Jordan Rhodes to sit back down after the fans cheered the pictures of him on the screen ready to come on for Scotland

Dicks problem with Bobby was, no matter how much success Dick brought to the club, Bobby would always be more popular with us

I'd actually like to know what Dick changed to make the team go from no hopers to league winners.  Was it just motivation, or was it tactical/signings?  Did Dick change anything about his game?

I'm also interested to know what made him stay so long.  Did he ever get offers to go elsewhere?  Was he ever tempted?

It gets "Right on his tits" and "The fans need to get a grip" come to mind

Hi Charlie - can you ask Bobby to pick a 5 a side team of his Arbroath FC team mates please?

Thanks.

Ex Rangers player Ian Black has been approached by the club.

Not even remotely funny  - he's a complete and utter bampot  !!

Couple of good signings for QoTS today. It actually really annoys me at how little a priority we made the centre of midfield.

Gold and Slater are both decent players who could be good with the right player next to them in a midfield 2 but we’ve got Liam Callaghan and Ali Spalding.

Callaghan is mince and Spalding is an 18 year old laddie - we would’ve been better off just keeping Lyons or even Jacobs - the Callaghan signing is a total mystery and having the guy for 2 years is a pain in the arse. Hopefully he improves big time if he has to play

Stowe away - surprised Spartans have paid a fee for him

Short on numbers now

Let’s be honest he was very poor. One decent game against Raith was all I remember. Clearly just wasn’t good enough. Hope he does well at Spartans but can’t see it if I’m honest

Gold and Hammy doing something that should of been done at end of season within the first week of being in the job,

Stowe was by no fault of his own well out his depth, wish him well,

Agee with the Callaghan comments, Absolute no one would of thought we would sign him, but when he was signed it seemed obvious he would he a squad player at best,

Happy Hammy and Gold are being allowed to make changes in the squad, hopefully they have players in mind they feel can improve, even on loan

Aye I had some hope for him I think there is something there but I’m not sure if he will ever put it altogether to become a good player in the leagues - very frustrating but good luck to him

I doubt they would have had a major say on Stowe, but I could be proved wrong.

Who we sign will depend on how we are going to set up can still see us playing 2 up front and can’t see us going to 3 at the back. So 442 it looks like.

Priority for me is wide pacey and central midfield who can tackle, striker would be a bonus too
