ForzaDundee
Plenty of space to build a stand like this across the length of the Derry, 4000 capacity easy. Segregate it at the halfway line with one side entering from the current Dens Road entrance and the other from the Provie Road entrance. Means we could give the 2000 to away fans and chase the Weegie dollar when they visit.

Les Westander of County
okay I've read the last 6 or 7 pages, looked at the accounts link, and think that it's too soon to say the finances aren't sustainable. Owing a lot to shareholders is not unique to Dundee FC. But I'd hope that the first and second years in the Premier League (and beyond) would show progress towards not making a loss, and indeed reducing the £3.2m debt. Moving house seems a bit fantastic and risky but weighing up the risks is complicated when the club doesn't own Dens. Improving Dens but maintaining its character might be more affordable but less long-term secure. You'd need detailed and well-informed costings to decide on that, with probably still lots of best-guess estimates rather than guarantees. And Rory Loy is a cause for Perth/Falkirk-related schadenfreude. That is my summary of findings so far. Let me know if I missed anything. This post has been cleared as wind-uppery-free and irony-free.

This post has been cleared as wind-uppery-free and irony-free. The report used incorrect information - there is no 3m debt. 800k or thereabouts. Literally no need for any of the fuss that's been generated. Of course a team getting relegated is going to make a loss.

Podlie
Yes it is; I think most Archibald Leitch stands are. It ain't on council listings.
Bigmouth Strikes Again
Same stand as the Shankly or Cox but running the length of the pitch, and join up the corners, that would be cool as f**k. IMO.

Ludo*1
It's the future! Keep hearing Loy being described as a hard worker. Is that you comparing him to a greyhound, aye?

govansaint
A very good link-up man? I was thinking more in terms of scoring some goals . However if Dapper Dans happy with him who am I to argue .
realmadrid
Ron Dixon's idea, taking away the crazier elements: The Element out the back of a redeveloped South stand could be a winner. No need for a new ice rink in Dundee now but some sort of club facility that generates non match day revenue would work. In most cases corporate/main stands don't face the sun so put them on a top tier and replace the main stand with a replica of the stands behind the goals. Love the look of steep second tier. Something very different about those plans to what's been built in Scotland.
Daydream
A redeveloped full length safe-standing Derry would be a complete bricker imo. Even better with a 'seggie' for big games (DABs).
Jamie_B
Dundee fans back to living in fantasy land with someone subsidising their losses. Again. No surprise. -
