In these days of players and managers being attacked and bottles and batteries flying at players it was difficult to believe that the most important thing to do was tear down a flag and spark a completely unnecessary incident. The players being attacked by bottles and batteries though tend to be getting targeted by fans from certain clubs... You may be familiar with them. You lot. The tribute act. This is the same set of supporters who fired flares into the home end on their last visit to Dens, the Boxing Day fixture a couple of seasons ago wrecked the kiosk area, took want they wanted from there and had a mass brawl in the Shankly end on that particular visit and live in the dark ages with their bigoted songs but some big bad steward took a flag down. Heard the shop beside the Troll Inn got a nice visit from a bus of Celtic fans on Sunday before the game. 1 pare lassie who at the time was working in the shop front on her own was left terrified as said fans decided to take whatever they wanted without paying for it. All just hearso of course and won’t be reported because someone had a green, white and orange flag taken down. In spite of however the season ends it'll be the lowest amount of season tickets sold for a long, long time IMO.
